17.12.13 Unemployment Normally, it is routine to find fault with the employees, but does it occur to anyone that the ones upholding the ethos of the company may be actually at fault? You can really say that an entire company that harbours too much competition, or is too favoured of poor people is running on flawed hypotheses. What do you do with people who will find fault with you, just because they want to teach you a lesson you already know. With many Indian companies, for an employee, it’s actually going backwards so many steps instead of moving ahead. You talk of human rights in Africa, China and god knows where else, but right under the nose of the caretakers, there are personal battles being waged; does no one care to stop unhealthy practices from being spread all across the board? So, you are going to tell an honest, hard working but goody goody employee that he is not good for a place where the poorest of the poor are employed; so you’d better get used to the ragging, thieveing, cheating, and sexcapades because you want to provide equal employment to all possible. And what about the gender issue? It’s a man’s world, so women automatically don’t have the ability to face the politics and crime created in an environment of only profit mongering. Money needn’t be such a bad thing after all; it’s the people behind it that are actually ‘bad’. So bad, that they maintain an environment of war because they want to make sure that each employee proves to work to his maximum capacity. That means you have to put them through the worst probable scenario and watch them bang their heads against each other to win over the coveted chair and promotion. This, to some morons, is the way that they bring out the best in people. In your quest for perfection, you forget that you look like a convoluted twig of a dead tree that has shed all its vegetation because it just didn’t have the right environment to survive. So you appear to help and care for each other, when actually, it’s you who are so keen to turn a growing tree into a shapely bonsai plant that appears nixed at every corner. You do this to each other; to the ones under you, and you hope that they learn the ropes the hard way; fight for the chair and ultimately the company gains the best way to run an organisation. You just don’t want to forget the past; nay, you are not ready to embrace a liberal future. Best, my foot. But what’s best for a certain group of people, is insanity for the rest. Right through history, we have seen that battles were waged for coveted gains, but people fail to realise that humans have evolved too; so that means that you don’t have to fight like a madman because each person knows his or her duty, and all will ultimately get their dues. But why does it only look good on paper, and when it is actually put into practise, it just becomes a circus run by dysfunctional retards? To run a fruitful organisation you have to make sure that the animal within you has evolved out of its cage, and that it’s refined people running organisations, not primitive demons, ghosts, lions and tigers. It is just not the right thing to propagate a culture of sacrifice, because sacrifice means killing, and each of us has a self that needn’t be killed. So, we must all learn not to sacrifice ourselves and others, especially for money, because there really is room for everyone’s needs, but not enough for one man’s greed. We are forced to evolve by nature, and when that doesn’t happen, systems, societies, cultures and even individuals crumble.
