‘This too shall Pass’, a phrase that tells us that every moment, both of joy and sorrow won’t last for long. So if you are happy control your emotions and do not be carried away. If you are sad, remember, after every dark night there will be a bright morrow.
Today I realized the importance of having a few evil forces in our life. It might be anything, right from sly neighbor, dumb boss, wicked mother in law, abusive wife, short-tempered husband, lazy watchman, cribbing child to a stingy friend. Without them, life will be so boring! If everything is perfect, the ultimate repercussion of that perfection will be boredom.
While I was waiting for my friend this morning, I happen to hear the workers around, sitting and chitchatting about the evil forces in their lives. I realized how that element of empathy or sympathy plays a crucial role and gives us strength to move ahead in life.
It also reminded me of an old man, a worker in the post office who was sharing with his colleague the reason why a daughter in law is called Bahu (read it as Bow). He said the logic is simple, she is called so because she keeps barking all the time! :P
We should not think twice before sharing our feelings with our dear ones. The other word for life is experience and when shared, it is both comforting and helpful. We might realize we are better off many and if that is not the case, then we will end up hearing something soothing and positive! ;-)
So never stop yourself from sharing and expressing. Just catch the Right bakra and spill it out…!
