Chapter 1

The evening sun was peeping through the green copse as if dribbling molten gold into the shallow rivulet, murmuring unheard requiems, scrambling its way to the oblivions, where we believe that the truth lies veiled, agonizingly crucified, lamenting for justice. The drowsy breeze the dreary weather, the dying sun, all echoed one solitary phrase “save our soul

The Ashram fortified by the occasional reverberations of chanting, was visible as a melancholic outburst of the emotionally downtrodden,.

Well, all the gathering awaiting the arrival of ChaitanyaGuruji, the savior of troubled souls, from all over the world, rich and the poor, the intelligent and the foolish, the brave and the coward, the elite and the downtrodden, all chanting sharanamantra, “Raksha Maam” (Save Me)

The bells started rolling and a strange aura filled the auditorium, when the great Guruji glided onto the dais. Then there was absolute silence, the crowd was all ears for the great teacher to utter the manna of wisdom .

There was an enigmatic smile piercing into your very inner sense, especially, Velu thought like that. It appeared as if the Guruji is trying to convey some mystical message onto him, specially, meant only for him, then Velu felt uneasy.

A lot of phantasmagorical transitions were exploding in his mind , each of them speaking volumes about the eventful and gory past,

Chapter 18

Velu woke up when the sun was piercing through his eyelids. He was afloat on the boat, which was wandering in the waters. Velu got up , his left ear was paining like hell. His hands were numb when he tried to tear off his shirt to tie up the wound. He felt thick blood still oozing out of the wound.

He must have been hit by a bullet, pressing his ears with one hand, velu looked up, oh, god, what happened to the boat man? Looking ahead he soon found the boatman lying in a pool of blood holding the controls of the boat fast though he was as dead as a duck.

So they must have been attacked again on the high seas. They must have left thinking both were dead, only they never knew one of them was Velu, whom they were frantically in search of.

Velu was bleeding profusely, the floor of the boat was full of blood and he could not hold his senses steady for long, he felt as if he is losing his consciousness again… and Velu fell back in the boat with a thud.
