This Diwali, I walked into Sri Krishna Sweets_KK Nagar [as I did last two years], requested the counter person if I can place a bulk order for sweets. I told I wanted in 1 Kilo and half kilo packets. This was on saturday the 22nd, I was told that the 1 Kg boxes will come in the evening. as I could not get back that evening I kept the purchase for the following monday
Again I went there on 24th morning, this time I stood in the queue and reached the cashier, a rather rude lady, when I asked for 14 KGs of Mysore pa, she pointed me to someone else across and curtly told me to reach the person, telling me that she is meant only for cash, I tried to tell her that I stood in line only to pay the cash to obtain the bill, my 14KG request threw me off the queue I could understand.
The person who appeared busy told me that he has onlyh 250 gms boxes, I told I needed 1 Kg and atleast half Kg, he said he cannot help it. Now I understood why the cash person threw me off the queue.
I went to T Nagar branch, which was pretty quick in responding, the lady there helped in lighting fashion and I got the bill paid and went to parcel section where the person was struggling, I started helping him and we finally got some 28 odd boxes loaded in my car.
I find Sri Krishna Sweets so strong a brand decline with wrong people and planning despite a strong product at the face of Saravana Bhavan who set up special sweet counters open till midning with additional staff and courtesy, it is not long when saravana bhavan will match the quality and sri Krishna could lose their pedsatal
