Why is revenge rating bad? It is bad because when you see a bad review you have to think twice before rating it SU of NU, or else that person will come and rate your perfectly written and very valid review as NU or SU.
I really dont mind people rating my reviews SU or NU cause I have written an very subjective review in the past that has attracted such ratings. But I understand it.
The sad is part when a good review is rated down it hurts the reliability of that review.
Whenever I read reviews I always check by whom it has been rated. If people on my trusted list and most of the star reviewers and the level headed ones have rated it NU or SU. I am become skeptical. Many a times I have found such reviews to be fake reviews by the company or just some copying a review from the net.
But many new members and guests just go by a review based on the rating, and a bad rated review is not "believed"

As you can see it is a very technical review and I am sure many will agree that it is anything but Useful(atleast). It is not an opiniated review, or a Point of view review, which I really dont mind the ratings.
So very sad but true, revenge rating is back. And I am going to stop rating bad reviews.
Do you know there is something also known as "reverse revenge rating". I will discuss that in another post, But I think you get the idea. It where people rate any type of review VU in the hope that they get similiar ratings for their reviews in return.
I havent seen that too in a long time and I hope it does not come back.
Keep writing fellow member and keep rating too , but do not "revenge rate".
