In this materialistic and jet-set age where we find a rat race to outdo and surpass others irrespective of moral and ethical values, we seem to be in doldrums as to what to do to attain peace and comfort in our life. It goes without saying that material or worldly success or great treasure-trove bring no peace in our life. This is world is a great delusion. The sooner we realise it, the better. Its guiles and snares are proverbial.
We find corruption reigning supreme. Our moral and ethical values are on decline. People are respected either on the basis of their wealth or beacuse of fear. It really frustrates and disappoints us to the core. But we must hope against the hope. In stead of cursing the darkness, we must light a candle.
Now, the only solution lies is to follow the dictates of our own conscience. Though its voice is weak and feeble, we must listen to it and try to implement it what it says. If we are conscientious ourselves, we don't need any other guidance or advice to lead a successful life here and the Hereafter. A person who listens to his / her conscience can never go astray. It's high time we followed the dictates of our conscience, which always guides us to the right path.
