Once upon time ago
Gods were awake and cruel
Beyond men’s understanding
(As we women wanted it to be)
We all crawled on the ground with snakes
Sank our sins to the seas
Threw out thoughts to the sky
Now those thoughts are raining back
I’m an surrounded by dirt
That has tainted my mind
Sunshine comes through the walls
Rain comes through the sealing’s
And we can feel how our sins are floating back to us
But now those are too heavy to carry
