Kritika Bajwa lives in Ludhiana with her parents, siblings, uncle and aunts, cushions and grand parents (Wow for a mumbaite or banglorian it sounds like details of housing society). There 3 story house is situated in heart of city, Mangal Nagar. Guru Gobind Singh Ji Gurudwara is at walking distance from her house.
Kritika is MA first year student of Govt ...Collage for girls. She manages her fee from tuitions, is active member of BETI (NGO against women fotecide) and is responsible for cooking evening chapatis for family of 17. That's not all about her, she 23, fair, "5-5", slim with brown hair (these ingredients are enough to get label of" TOTA" in area and indeed she is a "TOTA".
"Jab wo hasti hai to lagta hai bahaar aa gayi, uski aankho mein kho jata hn" .. this is what Pinder (next door neighbor) says. Pinder (Pushpinder) is a 12th dropout sikh, managing cloth shop with his father at Sabzi Mandi (prime commercial location of Ldh). He is thin, tall, mostly seen in dirty green shirt and Mehndi trouser with a small turban. In simple words no match for Kritika, par " PYAR DEWANA HOTA HAI"
Pinder never misses Sunday cricket match in their gali. He is not a good batsman nor a good bowler, neither he has any interest in cricket. This match gives him opportunity to get inside Kritika's house when ever some one hits six and ball lands in her house." Sahi aashiq hai".
Life is very cruel, he is not always lucky to gain access of house, for this also he has to compete with few more boys as everyone wants to make best of such opportunity (that's why I said in begning that Kritika is a "TOTA")
Kritika's father Aman Bajwa is a scrap dealer running business with his elder brother and 2 younger brothers. They have 2 sisters who are married. K's grandfather is retired govt servant and grand mother a retired school teacher. Though she is retired still she is the one who rules this house - "women power".
All three Bahu's obey rules of Saas and they are looking for sabse choti bahu for Rinku Chacha(youngest brother among Bajwa's(he is 28). Hmm.. K is 23 and Chahcu is 28. Old is gold and at times unstoppable also :).
