Just started on my first Rushdie...Ya Ya...I know I might be hopelessly out of date and all not having read ANY of his works :D I am reading 'Midnights Children'...Have completed some 100 odd pages last night...I skipped the rather large prologue on how he wrote the book and how the characters are based on his family/friends etc...it got a wee monotonous and I thought what the hell lets go on to the book.So far I just love what Ive read...The characterization is superlative and his narrative is just awesome...will keep u guys posted...Ciao...
