Bandra- The most wanted, loved, visited & happening place in city of Mumbai. Happening because of the infrastructure, locality, people, eating joints & most important-because of some famous bollywood celebrities residing.
Being a resident of New Mumbai, though born & brought up in town...I would visit Bandra only if,I had to go shopping or meet friends. But off late since last yr, my visit here has increased because my office is located in Bandra. An office right centrally located at Pali Naka. All the eating joints just a walk away. Toto’s garage, Candies, Basilico cafe, Lemon grass, Brownie point,5 spice etc...oh my my just a jump away.
My daily visit to Pali Naka is getting me more closer to this place & Bandra both. Have been to most of the eating joints, coffee shops, bakery etc.here.
Centrally located with the facilities walk away.. you want a bank, major banks right besides you. You need ATM, major ATM’s at each corner. You want different cuisines, right there next to you. You are a fitness freak, best gyms of town around the corner. The best clubs are around too. The best salons & spa’s around the city are right there. You also have those small eating joints, where you can stand & eat. Based at the rising slope is the Pali market, where you can shop for your favourite vegetables, fruits, groceries etc.
One thing I totally love here is the beautiful houses around. It gives me the feel as if I am in GOA or some village totally. The houses are those typical old ones, with nice balconies & small waranda’s outside. Catholics all around, their sweet language...the aroma of food in the small lanes, while they cook, everything is so Indomitable.
My love & affection for this place shall remain forever & ever...May be a visit later after years here will make me feel nostalgic!!!
