I logged in to this Mouthshut.com account on a whim today - not really to write anything, or review, or look for reviews, but just to see whether it still existed. I faintly remembered some blogs that I had written, some friends that I had made here, some happy feelings of being recognised, sharing thoughts, speaking my mind and pouring my heart out! The entire thing felt like a distant dream - can't remember the specifics, but can definitely remember the feelings, the feelings of happiness. This blog was my happy spot. And now that I am in, the floodgates just broke open and there's no going back:) I must go through all my blogs and my 300 odd unread messages. I feel like I am reconnecting with an old lover, picking up where we left of from, trying to update each other about our lives. and smiling through all of this! Because the feeling of familiarity is amazing! It's the sweetest and the most powerful feeling in the world! And I am feeling it in my heart right now. There is no going back.
I am back. From a long vacation. to be precise, 8 years and 2 months. And I want to see whether I can still write. The funny thing is, I don't even know whether people still write here, simple blogs about life and experiences. Or has it become an out and out review site, like it was intended to be:) I will figure out soon, I guess.
