"Once upon a time, there lived a princess - pretty, sheltered and kind. She was a happy child - her only worries being "Who does my Mom love more - me or Didi?" and "When will I next meet my grandparents?" Life was simple for her; a simple routine of eat - drink - play - study - sleep kept her occupied and satisfied. Her life, with her parents and her sibling around her, was as perfect as it gets!
25 years later, the same princess, sitting in an empty office, feeling the loneliness of a wasted holiday in her bones, typing away at her laptop, waiting patiently for a feedback from a client, can't help but wonder - "When did it all change?"
And I look pensively at the busy highway across the glass walls of my office building and a tiny speck of yellow amidst a mass of white, black, silver, grey and red, catch my attention. The yellow speck materialises into a Tata Nano as the car zooms past my office. It speeds away towards Bandra, constantly meandering to make way through the traffic. The yellow speck reminds me of myself. tiny in my and speeding away. it reminds her And then she smiles to herself and answers her own question - "When life happened, sweetheart!"
