Happy were the days of School,
Where Life was so Cool.....
Where Craze used to be for Video games,
not for Money or Fame..
Fights used to be for Toys,
rather than to prove oneself Wise...
Where Fear meant Dad and
now even the Beer doesn't seems Bad..
We used to do exactly what we Wanted,
because there was no one who Taunted.....
Lies were meant to make someone feel Nice,
rather than to Wet someone's eyes..
Where Pulling referred to that of the Leg
and not of Hookkah or Fagg...
Festivals used to create a sacred Ambience
now everything has lost its Fragrance...
Where Party meant Vada paav n Pepsi,
not Kingfisher n Whisky..
When we were Obsessed with Showers in the Rain,
and not the Mad Rushes in Trains....
Where everyone was allowed to raise their Voice,
and no one seemed to be a Novice..
Times when friends used to fight for the Window Seat
now they hardly get the time to Meet....
Where Punishment meant for Shame and
now it seems to be Lame..
Days when Results used to create Panic,
not a Suicidal Maniac...
Now that's all in the Past,
but Life is really very Vast,
where we all are Cast
to play our Roles Apart.........
