Trains in Mumbai are the fastest and the cheapest means of traveling. I have been a commuter of trains since 7 years. I have experienced many things during my journeys. I started my journey with trains in 2006. Before that, I used to travel by train occasionally and that too during non-peak hours. My father gave me a few tips on how to avoid mishaps whilst traveling in train. And I did listen to him because I have always liked the way he shares his experiences with me.
The first time when I was waiting to board a train on the platform, I was a little nervous and scared of the anticipation. It got worse when a train arrived at the platform and I didn't board it out of fear. I was disappointed, looking at the way people were getting into the train. Some were trying hard to find their way towards a seat. While others just left their body loose in order to get carried away by the milling crowds. Really, getting into a train must be a nightmare for a novice.
I mustered the courage and got into the second train . I felt like I won a battle that day. But then I suddenly realized, "Oh God!! this is a never-ending battle, I have to fight it everyday".
But, as time passes by, it improves one's maneuvering skills. And now this hectic train traveling has become an inseparable part and parcel of my Life !!!
