LG announced their curved screen phone just a few backs back and the phone was expected to debut in November. However, Samsung soon picked up where lG left off and not just announced but even launched their curved screen phone instead! Well, we don't really know who stole who's thunder but if these press images are anything to go by. Samsung hasn't really upped LG this once when it comes to the curved display war.
LG's curved display phone, LG G Flex is curved from the top to bottom. There's not much the leaked images tell us except that the phone looks like a black painted Pringle's chip. There's not a lot the leaked images reveal and apart from the slight curvature, other features and specifications still remain a mystery. However, the leaked press shots hint at the phone being a relatively sleeker, sharper device.
According to leaks. LG G Flex will sport a 6-inch display. However, the screen resolution and quality is still unknown. The phone according to LG will be 'unbreakable'. However, whether the phone is a bendable device or like Samsung's Galaxy Round, just a twisted phone will be known once LG officially makes an announcement.
Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy ROund ahead of LG hoping to steal LG's thunder but the phone fell quite flat on it's upturned face. Samsung Galaxy ROund did not recieve a warm welcome with the phone being criticised more for it's ridiculous looks and absurd curve than for anything else. Will LG be able to please where Samsung failed/
Looks not. So far, LG G Flex have earned mixed responses. Most of the comments include concerns regarding holding the phone or keeping it in the pocket. Valid arguments considering the phone is a curved device and with a 6-inch display it will be difficult to fit the phone in any pocket. However, considering the phone is an unbreakable phone, we wonder if sitting on the phone accidentally will not leave us with glass shards.
There's a lot questions out there and we hope LG have their safety masks in place before they unleash the volley with their November LG G Flex launch!
