Smoking has been banned in public places from today. Good. Very good. Excellent start from them. But then, do you really think its going to work? How many of you would call police if you spot someone smoking? How many of us are going to object the usual "Paanwala shops" endorsing and selling those lung-killers ? In this pathetic system of justice , who would like to fall in the hands of police and end up , who knows , himself in jail ! In fact , many of us , still would just see , make faces and move on with life , coz thats what we all have been doing till date. " Move on with life" , right?
Its a good step taken from government's side , but still its going to be one-self and the public who can stop this , otherwise smoking is one such virus which has been flooded in our society for such a big time now that its likely impossible to remove this or even control it, especially fining people , huh !
Lets see how much it affects. I am waiting for the results for sure.
