Happy Independence Day,
This is for all those people who are patriots at heart.Fold your hands and thank Almighty for bringing us to this world after the Indian Independence. Our forefathers sacrificed their lives not to see us dying at fighting over religion and cast sentiments. If we are aping west on all the glamour and sex stuff (that's killing the young minds of our nation)why for God's sake aren't we competing with them to value human mind and life.We love our country, we love INDIA...but what is INDIA without hindu-muslim-sikh-Isaaie....it's a barren land surrounded by oceans on three sides and a mountain on top.we love our country, not for the land but for the culture, the tradition,the culinary delights,the attire....that comprises and moulds us to be... INDIANS. Near and far, the best of the rest.
Come all the shutter mouths, lets pledge to make a little difference, by just adding a column for writing,and ways to make the world a better place to live. It can be contributing voluntarily to teach a child at the weekend or by simply engaging in planting trees once a month(is that too much India asks for).Let us make India a place, that our next generation would love to hold with hands folded, the beauty, the glory and the granduer of the great civilization.Let us be what we are, not ape others,make a place in the sun to bask in the light of sheer magnanimity that our childern would treasure.
