I still remenber the days of our childhood spent together, the demend of mine for a gift, the blackmail I did every year to tie the rakhi on your wrist.
Little did I know that in the years to come I will be depended on the postal service to send you the rakhi.
I am sad for all the blackmail I did, am sad for the the toys I snatched from you, am sad for all the sweets I ate without your knowledge, am sad for letting you cry over beatings from mom.......I am sad for spending this day waiting for your phone call.......
Although I am sad for everything, But I am proud to present the world ,a soldier, a MAJOR in the INDIAN ARMY.You are not only guarding the provinces but the Sindoors on our forehead.You are not only spending sleepless nights, but brightning our tomorow with thousands of stars.
I salute you, dear brother and to all those sisters of my country, who have gifted their first ever playmates in the service of the Nation.
