I was not al all Naughty....;-p

I was born on a cool October morning with a cry- Ammmaaaa. I look exactly like my Father and was a good happy baby. I was the first grandchild of my Mother's family and they adoringly named me Chakkara. Chakkara in Malayalam means jaggery.

I play during night and slept during day.. My Parents still remember about their sleepless nights and how they usd to carry me in their hands and walk for hours. If they stopped walking then I would again cry- Ammaaa... Many babies love to sleep in cradles... But I used to hate it. I liked to sleep in ordinary bed. I always wanted to be with my Parents....

I was a foody baby. On the day of my Chorunu ( it is a ceremony in which babies are given rice for the first time), when all other babies cried and refused to eat the rice and curries, I happily ate everything that my Parents gave, just as if I was waiting for this to happen. But it is believed that babies should cry when they are given rice for the first time. So my Grandpa, took a green chilly and crushed it and gave it with the rice... The rest you can imagine..... When I started crying, all other babies stopped themselves as the volume of my cry was very high.

Like most of the babies, I too refused to eat food later. My Mother and Aunt tried every thing but in vain. Then they switched on the Television....no use. But they noticed that I opened my mouth when advertisements come. So they will wait with a plate of food until the ads came and fed me when I opened my mouth out of wonder....! Really clever, My Mother, na?!

The next fantasy was towards a Tamil song. Please don;t tease me, OK... The song is " Mukkala, Mukkabala...." from the film Gentleman. If you want to hear the song just follow the link- https://youtube.com/watch?v=3Q40NVzXhOw. I won't eat food or sleep unless and untill I hear this song. And I won't give time for my Parents to rewind the song in the casatte.

I started learning ABCD when I was 2 and a half years old... and I longed to go to school. Please don't thing that it is a 'glimpse of brilliance'....it was because I liked the ad of Action School Shoes.... Remember the song- "Action Ka Schooltime..." I loved that song very much and thought that school life would be like that.

The first song that I evr sung was " Dum Maro Dum'... I knew that line only and continuously sung that line....;-). When I grew up I became naughtier... I would go and stand near the gate and invite people to visit our house, offering them Chappatis and Puris.. Some Uncles and Aunties would come, and I would give them ' imaginary' Chappatis and Puris......

Now tell me friends,.... I was not at all naughty, na?
