I am a Bangalorean myself. I am very sorry that you had to go through such terrible experiences. Looks like the man was either intoxicated or a bigot. Any right thinking person would condemn this strongly. I would have wished you registered a complaint against him so that he stops this nonsense. Als...o, I have been with mixed groups of both north and south indians and we have had very good relationships. I think it is unlucky you met him and I hope you can meet nice people. SRK loves people and he shows love in
his movies. He behaves like a common man. Aamir always tries to be this unreachable super-man. In Ghajini he is shown as the CEO of a mobile company having 500 million customers.
Wow! Hang on. I am a little mixed up with this fake and real thing. Now if film... stars tend to have this huge wealth, spend huge amounts for villas in Dubai, buy IPL teams... and if they happen to play a common man in the movie, don't you think that is what is completely fake? I mean if SRK is playing a common man, then he is faking. And Aamir plays a wealthy unreachable man, he indeed isn't! Isn't it paradoxical that you are praising SRK and not Aamir?! What happened to our champion of truth and villainous of 'fakeness'[sic]

Coming to the Bangalore thing, you are so dumb that you don't care to understand what you criticized the city for and what others did. And what others did was after it got so boomed up that it became more of a congestion. And when you reviewed it, Bangalore was quite distant from that congestion. But you fel vindicated that others took the stand similar to yours after a few years! So before you go on such an ego-trip, just want to warn you that it was nothing but a mere co-incidence!
Last time I logged in, you were called the star writer of the site. A person who made fun of physically challenged people while you were reviewing Black! I was so shocked that not a single voice was raised before I did!

I would got to the extent of saying that MS has been an accomplice in this crime. I am not for a ban but shouldn't MS have the same yard sticks for everyone??.. It was 3 years ago when I wrote about a site for networking of homosexuals and that was deleted as gross with an angry mail shot to me. And I was shocked to my core with the bigotry that MS chose to embrace then. And calling you a star writer has reaffirmed my opinion of MS!
The thing that was heartening though was that they were a few who did stand up against this bigoted woman.

Let's not over simply this, give it the shades of regional discrimination. I mean she did make it to the top 6. And Pooja too made it to the top 5. How did they mak...e it to top 10 going by your logic that the public didn't want an idol from Bihar? Don't you think a LOT of contestants were eliminated from other states well before them?! I mean, you shouldn't even be complaining, in my opinion
One of the reasons they couldn't make it beyond top 5 was that they didn't get enough votes from Bihar itself. Don't you think if even most of the Biharis had voted for them, they very well could have surpassed the number of votes Prashant or Amit have got having hailed from really small places! It was just the madness and passion or lack of it in their regions that get or fail to get their votes.
It may very well be true that Biharis are discriminated against, but doesn't seem to be the case here buddy...
And I can't speak for everyone but IF I hated Deeplai or Puja, it would have been because of bad performances. If i loved them, it would have been because of great performances. I never underestimated them because of their region. Indeed I was even more supportive of them since they hailed from smaller ,less famous cities in India and still made it till there! And I stopped watching Indian Idol when Puja went out! I knew it would happen but still came as a shock, despite that... she is my Indian idol ;)
