Reviewed Angels & Demons Movie

After being disappointed by "The DaVinci Code" (DVC) movie, I was keen to see the treatment that Angels and Demons (A&D) would get. The screenplay gets much better treatment than DVC but in my opinion it is still not up there. In A&D, the screenplay in addition to the modified start and end keep...Read more

Hi Sonia, I meant to read your review but have been so buzy since Nov. It was moving to read your piece - straight from the heart, well written. Though you start by saying it is not a review - your piece does it more justice than a review would have!! I think the author has succeded in his intent.... I'm off Holocaust books/movies for a while. I visited Anne Frank house where she wrote her diary in hiding, the Nazi concentration camps - and it hit me hard. It is just surreal to be in the same place where millions of people went thru so much. Look fwd to your next book review!Read More

This is my first book by Jane Green. "...a beautiful old Nantucket home with water views and direct access to the beach...." Sounded like my dream house and being bit of a beach bum when I was growing up this book appealed to me nostalgically - it sounded appealing enough to read. The book st...Read more
