Primus India Broadband provides unlimited data transfer at 64 kpbs speeds, hence if they are available in your area you are lucky and should subscribe to them without hesitation.
32 kpbs 'broadband' sounds like a joke. some international companies are giving 150 kpbs via dial-up ! broadband shou...ld have at least 256 kpbs minimum.

Only BSES Powersurfer and Primus India Broadband provide unlimited data transfer at the stated speeds, so these two are the only standard reasonable ISPs available, hence if they are available in your area you are lucky and should subscribe to them without hesitation. unlimited downloads....... if you prefer pay Rs.800-1000 for 300 Mb download like Iqara, Dishnet, Sify charges ...then most of the time you will be VOLUNTARILY staying off the net !!

FAR MORE VITAL even than the speed......if you have BSES or Primus India that should be your 1st choice and keep Sify as 2nd choice if they former two ISPs are unavaliable in your locality..
BSES (Mumbai) and Primus India (Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Ludhiana & Kolkata) are... the only REAL world-class ISP that gives unlimted download at 64 kpb , dont get conned by those who give high speeds at 256 or 512 kpbs and low limits download limits......its just a waste, the data download limit is the important thing ...so watch the amount the ISP allows very carefully !!! BSES & Primus India are the only two standard reasonable ISPs available, hence if they are available in your area you are lucky and should subscribe to them without hesitation. Remember again - Dont get fooled by those who give high speeds like 256 kpbs or 512 kpbs but with restricted data transfer limits.

Please note that all the ISPs in the world buy their bandwidth from the giant backbone Providers like InterNap, Asia-Pacific Net etc. These dont charge for the download data, but only the bandwith eg. 32 kpbs, 64 kpbs, 128 kpbs, 512 kpbs 1.2 mbps, 2.4 mbps, 1 terabyte/sec etc, etc.....repeat - they... DO NOT charge for the data downloaded. Thats the introduction by the local ISPs to fool ignoramuses like you. So a standard package you buy should only be charged for the speed eg. 32 kpbs,128 kpbs, 256 kpbs /month...and you should be allowed to download as much data as you like at the specified speed 24 hours a day for the whole month without any restrictions as to the bytes transferred or time logged in. Thats standard international practise. Most are con-ISPs running here.
Thus the overall rating of the ISPs fom the biggest fraud to smallest fraud is as follows:

Iqara Broadband - Zipnet DSL - Dishnet - Hathway Cable - Sify - BSNL DIAS

'lemme tell ya some facts, mine is plan no.128, for home surfing, the speed i get is 512k’s(unmatched) & i get a download limit of 1 gb. no howcome is it u r saying that one gets only 300 mb of dwnload limit!!! urs must be another plan mate...chk out different ones according to ur needs. n...ot everything is the same right.'
the plan I'm talking about is the ddsl 300 MB 'Unlimted' at Rs.999/pm 128 kpbs. Now I use SIFY because Primus is not available where I stay. I use Sify 1GB at 32 kpbs for Rs.800 pm. Now the download speed at 32 kpbs is more than suffcient, your 512 kpbs is of no importance as the Remote Server you connect to also has to be taken iinto account and that will usually be slower, hence you wont see much difference between 32 kpbs, 128 kpbs and 512kpbs.
Now about the download limit, I use about 30 MB/ day just for browsing and the 1 GB is barely sufficient for 1 month. I dont download anything, mind you - just browsing, checking emails etc. You say that 1 GB is enough for you ? Just say that to users of some other Global Net providers like Earthlink, AOL, BT, etc....they will laugh and laugh, most of the people who use the Global ISPs regularly dowload over 1 GB per day. And how much are you paying for the ddsl 1 GB 512 kpbs ? must be a pretty heavy amount....! The local ISPs are defrauding the public by pretending to give high-speeds coupled with low download limits - then because no one uses the net (because the are afraid their download limits are about to finish or are over) thus the speed apparently becomes very fast eg. 512 kpbs. A standard global ISP who says they provide 128 kpbs or 512 kpbs must be able to provide unlimited downloads to ALL its subscribers SIMULTANEOUSLY at the stated speed without any restrictions on data or time spent. I hope you now understood slick tricks and cons the ISPs use to defraud the publlic .

out to make a quick sack of cash by cheating the publc, thats why the Broadband Internet connections in India (0.04%) is far lower than in neighbouring countries like China (5%), South Korea (52%), Malaysia (40%) etc....

No use of high speeds and low download amounts, its just a farce and eye-wash. the download limit is the MOST important thing. Primus is the best deal in india (availble only in delhi unfortunately), Sify is fast but the restricted download limit makes it 2nd option - i.e only where Primus is not av...ailable.
Sify had beter do something about the download limits if it wants to stay in the business ! they must increase or have unlimited downloads at least for the lower speeds like 64 kpbs or 32 kpbsRead More
