Your uneducated garbage about how the Heathrow slot allocation procedure works is so untrue, I don't even know how to set you right. Suffice it to say that no one pays for 'slots' and you pay 'landing fees' that vary by weight of the plane, meaning that AI pays among the highest fees at Heathrow ...with their 747s. Of course, with a negative attitude like yours you probably don't care about the facts.Read More

Air India would love to offer more flights from Chicago - London - Mumbai but the US Government has placed a restriction on AI operating only 3 weekly flights on that route to protect their own carriers. Blame Uncle Sam for that one not Maharaja.

I am curious. When you are at home do you eat dinner at 1'o'clock in the morning? If not, then why do you expect full meals to be served by Air India in the middle of the night? Most passengers are grateful to be allowed a chance to sleep on the flight rather than have to deal with someone bringi...ng a cart through serving chicken curry at 2am.Read More

If someone has dietary restrictions such as Veg food requirements, Air India offers something like 18 different special meal options that you can request anytime upto boarding the flight. However, this is not some flying 5-star restaurant where you can look at the menu and then have your khana fr...eshly prepared for you. Meals are packaged on ground, so if you do not request your Veg meal in advance you take the risk of running short. What should Air India have done instead? Denied a passenger who was diligent enough to have requested his meal in advance simply to satisfy someone who couldn't bother? Read More

You have mixed up Air India and Indian Airlines. Air India does not, and has never operated the Delhi-Bangalore route. Air India operates from the International terminal at Delhi, which is a totally seperate terminal than that used by Sahara Airlines. Air India uses all jetways at Delhi, so... there is no vehicle to take you to the aircraft. Please check your facts in the future before posting.Read More

Delta Air Lines has established a well earned reputation for Southern hospitality. Frontline personnel are very friendly, but are often hampered by corporate policy. In the interest of saving money, Delta has eliminated meals on all flights under 4 hours in length and charge passengers for headp...Read more

American Airlines does not operate any aircraft without lavatory facilities. The smallest aircraft in their fleet is the Saab340B which seats ~30 passengers and has a lavatory located on the right side behind the cockpit. Also, if you had informed AA in advance about your medical condition and th...e baby, they would have arranged to meet you at your arrival gate with an electric cart to transport you to your connection. Don't expect the airline to be psychic and understand your special needs without informing them.Read More

If AI had 20000 staff per aircraft, that would mean that there were almost 5 lakh employees? Your figures are totally inaccurate. The industry average of employee per aircraft is in the range of 120. Air India is around 850, primarily because they operate larger aircraft on long-haul sectors.

Basically your complaint is that YOU broke the rules by carrying too much luggage and then you are upset because they wouldn't allow it? Grow up.

If you didn't place a request for a veg meal, how on earth are they supposed to guess you were vegetarian? If you were non-veg and they only had veg meals left, you would be complaining just as loudly. Besides, is a 2 hour flight from BOM-DEL really so long that not getting your choice of meal r...uined your day?Read More

Did it ever occur to you that this might be because of Government regulations restricting the flow of Indian rupees to and from the country? You can very easily launder black money using airline tickets as a means of conveyance. Talk to the Reserve Bank of India and ask THEM why this rule is ...in place before you blame Air India for simply following the rules.Read More

Air India doesn't fly any 7 hour segments from Dubai. Where the hell were you going? If you didn't request a vegetarian meal and the purser STILL went out of his way to try and get you something, you should actually be praising the purser rather than bitching about not getting something you didn...t ask for. Some people just like to complain and you are one of them.Read More

Air India doesn't fly from Calcutta to Silchar and never has. Are you sure you have the right airline?
