Bad choice. Review on Air India

I was always proud of our national airline untill I a bad experience flying air-india. My friends and relatives who used to travel abroad would always complain about the bad service of air-india.But I not used to agree to them. I always liked the huge airbus of air-india.

I had traveled air-india from mumbai-Malaysia. All the other airlines were full so I had to opt for air-india. I was all excited. I was with my friend. Earlier I had travelled to Malaysia in Malaysian airlines,singapore airlines and Quantas airline (up to singapore. So I was expecting the same service form our national carrier. We boarded the flight from Mumbai airport. The air hostess and the air pursers looked like they were forced to stand at the entrance of the aircraft. May be because all of them were almost old and tired. Aircraft was good and my excitement increased. WOW flying air-india. The flight had a stop over at Chennai for one hour. The flight took off. I was at the airport at around 8:00 pm and boarded the flight at around 11:30 in the night. We waited the food to come. The staff server us some snacks. I was expecting good food and some hot drinks as other foreign airlines serve in their airlines. I thought may be when we take off again from Chennai the stuff will follow. The flight landed at Chennai airport. People got down. Only few passenger were their sleeping. The air hostess and the air pursers went on the last seats and went to sleep. We were left on our own. Nobody to attend us. Then few house keeping people came in the air craft and started cleaning. They did a good job cleaning the passengers too as they were not bothered to request us to shift from our seats. Finally we too off from Chennai airport and to my surprised we were not given to eat anything till morning. No food no drinks. They put off the aircraft lights and all went to sleep. and promised not to travel air-india again. The staff were rude. The ground staff were not helpful. It all seemed like air-india and its staff is flying you free and that you should not expect any thing from them.

I will suggest fly air-india only if you have no other option.
