Sure. To each his own. We used a small operator the last time we moved (~8 months back). They gave us a quote without looking at the place and then later asked for more, came late, we had to keep an eye and keep directing them what to do, they chipped our dining table top, dented our fridge and sulk...ed when we asked them to unpack (which was part of the original agreement). On the flip side, one of my colleagues also used a local small guy and got great service. Like I said the experience is very variable and it would be good if you could share the details of the local guy you used.Read More
