Same response I had with them 5 years back, they will not improve, this was one of the reason i opted out of honda, glad I pickup sx4, any which way IDV of sx4 and higher than city as on today.

You said 160 mm ground clearance, and said u will feel comfortable on rough and tough road, not sure how nissan had managed it, On a rough road with car fully loaded with 160 mm u r bound to scratch the under body if you are not slow, Honda city has this as a major negative point. And if you careful...ly see the company has not published the ground clearance details any where on their site or brouc... Please do update from your experience what is the mileage u r getting inside the city/highway with and without AC. What is the recommanded service intervals (km/month) specified by the manufacturer.Read More

Sorry to say your review is not measurable. it is more an emotional out come. Honda technology is sure to be one of the best, but the people who service it are not. Please do not have to much expectation from the honda service and after sales. It would be of great pain to see dissatification... from the brand which we love so much. If possible update your review with the fuel (order fuel) economy, pickup with AC(on) and a load of 5 people, cabin noise, erogonomics for tall people to move in and out of car both (passenger and driver seats) and so on.. Hi Amit, I can understand your are dissappointment. As you have mentioned that there is a some taping and rattling even in the other test drive car, Which should not have been there in first place. I am hoping you would have test drivn the demo car before making such huge investment; get so...me other know good driver(friend/relative) to drive your car; Just to make sure that your driving style is not a problem. I have been using sx4 in the last 2 years+, with around 18000+ kms done, I have not faced the problem what you have mentioned. According to me this a very practical car, do not expect very high refinment from it. Hoping your will come out of your virtual/real problem that you are facing with your car. Hi,
Mileage figures 14/15 per liter in city condition is what your getting with a normal fuel or power/speed fuel?
If I could know which city you drive you car.
Hope these mileage figures are not the one your car shows based on driving condition on the dash board.

Arnold Clarification: I have not noticed any deviation on ODO meter, though i read it some were, never got an chance to check, think that should be fine. Will comment when I get a chance.
Sanzoo Clarification: I take your point that one should not compare santro and sx4:-), I did... so because I own both and have not driven other vehicles long enough to compare features; Like getting in and out of the car for all, high instance of seating both are similar, and the pepi engin at low spead etc., Any ways thanks for comment. Thank you for commenting Joseph, Agreed most of it might be covered by 100+ reviews. I have shared my experience after using my car for 1.3 years. Could not write more due to size limit on the site. So had to slice out more than 30% of it. Just to give an example, I said car is good for people 5.5 t...o 5.10 and aged people, because of the high instance seating which santro also has, it is easy to get in and get out of the sx4; but at the same time for the driver due to steering column, it is little discomfort able. Similarly I said music is simple and fine, but I am not impressed because is built quality and voice quality and volume; that was more of persnl taste and preference. This document was not created in one day, I have been recording these comments from the day I purchased the car, it is just this day I found some time to refine and post it, well you can say I am late to post this; I have not written these based on others comments. Hope you appreciate that the CAR is in the market for almost 2.5 year now. If you have analyzed the most my points are covered by other in this site, I am happy to see that my finding and experience are universal and that is what a new buyers will be looking at; most of them are talking and experiencing on the same lines and few odd lines coming for few users here and there; and I am sure I have added few things like steering column, Leaves in the AC fans and few more and not sure if anyone has covered, correct me If am wrong. Your guess is right, I am driving in bangalore. Thanks for updating on the fuel type, if I could request you to just add a liner about this in your main review as that will be read most, any kind of power fuel will give an appreciable pickup in any RPM there by gives you satif...ication of your car is not underperforming. I am already in practice of point suggested, thank you for the same as it assures me that I am on the right track; though I have my reservations on using any additivies. I would be happy if I can get 11km/lt with AC in city. and 14 km/lt with AC on a highway with normal fuel.

I was just wondering how you are getting 13km/lt with AC in city limit. I tried you suggesting of maintaining at 1500RPM in the city and 2100RPM in high way, but that is like very sad because my car work properly only when it reaches above 1500rpm, below that pickup is very slugish. but even wi...th these tips I am getting only 10.5 max in city with AC on highway 12 with AC. Any more tips. I use normal petrol, hope you are also using the normal petrol and not speed or high ocetan petrol.

Thanks for the update, I have just done around 700 km and I am getting arond 10 with out AC in city limits, I guess I have to wait for few thousands kms before expecting a decent milage. By the by I am having a problem in the gears getting stuck in 2nd and 3rd, though I am a new driver, even my ...spouse who is an expert with around 14 years drving a four wheeler has a problem with the gears. I need to report this during my first service.Read More
