On 9th June afternoon, I got an sms from the tour operator (M/s RS Yadav Travels), that the bus has broken down and so journey is cancelled. I was utterly confused and rushed to find an alternate medium to travel to Delhi, as m...Read more

It will be a brief writeup. Some key points: If you are travelling from Mumbai to Goa - Choose NH 4 over NH 17, if you prefer safety. NH 17 passes through Ghats. When you approach Goa from Mumbai, no need to go upto Belgam. There is a cut at a place called Nipani. Do not miss it. You will ...Read more

Hi Bobby, Thanks for your kind words. I had stayed in the Holiday Home of my company Indian Oil, but can safely tell you that finding a good Hotel will not at all be an issue at Manali. Partcularly I saw some good hotels at the Hidimba Temple Road, which had very good view of the valley. 2...nd point about the roads. Drivers are far too experienced and road width is not an issue.Read More

When to go? *Our stay at Manali was from 18th Sept'09 to 23rd Sept'09. As per the information that I gathered from locals, the peak season is May to June. Tourists also visit Manali during Dec-Feb to enjoy snowfall. However, I may add that the period during which I had visited, was also quite...Read more

First of all my advice would be to read the novel by the author. It is not worth missing. However, to those who would watch a movie instead, this is one such movie where they will not miss much. In fact this movie shows an altogether different approach of making thriller movies. Plainly & sim...Read more

great reviw mate!!! i was thinking of writing something on the lines of this review, but you have surpassed my thoughts. frankly a brutally honest and forthright review. You are damn right about the length of the review thing. I have consistently seen some nice compact reviews being given U r...ating just because they weren't long enough. and a very filthy but long review getting a higher rating by same persons. This word list thing was great!!! i think i know whom u r pointing to!!!! TC thing is also true as is the 100+ review thing....... great one mate.......some of the older members should read this. buck up adityaRead More

Though I have given you a 'useful' rating, primarily because your review was 'different', yet i beg to disagree on certain points. For me, Originality is THE most important thing and rightly MS guards it as well as it can. You can always give a link of a certain other site, if you want, but at le...ast mention the source. I think a ceratin paragarph from another article or review can be pasted, but the important thing is to acknowledge that you took it from another source. I think the group system in a way already exists in MS. say I want to read abt books in general, I can do so, I want to see if a certain book is there, I can do so as well.......what more do I want. I would like to mention that writing reviews is not about gaining MS points. MS provides us with a platform where we can air our views, our thoughts. I am not being an idealist, but the fact remains that people continue writing reviews not because someday the points might be redeemed, but because they are addicted to this habit. The deletion suggestion of yours is good. adityaRead More

As usual the review was quite funny but slightly.....hmmm you know censor board ki scissors chal sakti thi!!!! anyway mate as you have rightly pointed out, I disagree withyour choice of Ian Chappel. His knowledge of the game and particularly accurate realization of the match situation is really ...commendable. in my view he represents the typical Aussie attitude, no favors given none asked for..... as far as him being a racist is concerned, I will disagree, he is extremely harsh on australian players....and similarly on any other player who gives less than 100%. i would advise you to read Gavaskar's Idols about this man.Read More
