On the point of Hindi / Urdu... i think it does't matter anymore. What we speak today / at the movies .. its called Hindustani language, Its neither Hindi nor Urdu. In fact most of the movies are now a mix of Hindi - Urdu - English - Punjabi Languages evolve on their own.. no one has control ove...r it. What ever is flexible will grow... ( Eg - English) Whateever is inflexible & Elitist will perish ( Eg- Sanskrit) Read More

Wow! That was an amazing review. The philosophical angles / learnings are very very thought provoking. Though i too saw this great movie, i could not crystallise the philosophy in such a beautiful manner. I too saw the movie and was completely moved by it. A lot of scenes are very very memorabl...e and heart rending. Keep up the good work. - Riyaz KhanRead More

A daring movie which transcends the limits of a biopic. Its actually not a movie..... You are transported into history. Your review is fine but your title is Misleading. Calling the movie a 'Pro Muslim Propaganda' is injustice to the various humanistic messages which the Director has tried to convey in all his earnest. Such efforts for peace and harmony should be encouraged in all its forms. As a movie it is just a...verage, I too felt so, however where the movie clicks is with its messages.Read More

I think you have got carried away by the half truths of Chetan Bhagat. The fact is that the Producers of the Movie have PAID Chetan Bhagat as per the prearranged deal between them for the Story and they have not cheated anyone. Chetan's grouse is that his name didn't come in the beginning, it came ...in the end. You say that the movie is 80% FPS, I say that the movie is only 20% FPS. When i read the book i found it quite negative and depressing. As against that i found the movie quite uplifting. If someone had made the exact movie of FPS, it would have gone into the dustbin like the Call Centre Movie. In any case Chetan Bhagat is a spent force now. His first two books were very good. His Three Mistakes was like a pathetic flop bollywood movie. And I don't want to venture into his fourth book. I have nothing against Chetan as such, he seems to be a sensible fellow, but my request to you is not to get carried away by half truths.Read More

Hi Fenil, Having enjoyed the movie yesterday i liked your review. The movie has so much in it that it really requires at least 50 pages to do justice to everything good about the movie. I think you have done a good job of writing a good detailed review. You know when the movie was reaching the ...end, i somehow felt that the movie should go on and on... it was so beautiful. The whole story and flashback etc was beautifully choreographed.. I just feel like going to Raju Hirani and giving him a JADU KI JHAPPI !!Read More

We too went in a group. That was the only saving grace. We laughed and we cried with the movie. Unfortunately the timing was out of sync. The 'Emotional' scenes made us Laugh and the Comic scenes made us Cry. Deepika was absolute disaster. She should go back to selling soaps and shampoos.
