@ Rxtrooper I own a P180 ug3 and a ported RX 135 5 speed too.. I know where all the bikes stand and I never insulted any bikes man.. The Rx 135 after a port job with an expansion chamber has turned into a beast, can munch 100kmph within 10 secs and hit top whack of 140kmph easily.. This review w...as written in 2006 and i have a different point of view now. But still karizma is best on highways, though the performance of P180 and rxz gushes the adrenaline it cant take long time beating like the zma does. The P180 ug3 is an outright screamer with mind blowing performance and i love the feeling too... only wish if it had vibrated a tad lesser.. The efficiency scores too.. Anyways, These days I'm not interested in the 4 strokes.. the 2 stroke keeda has bitten me hard :-) I'm dreamin a true 150kmph on my fully blown up RX ;-) I'm using karizma and P180 only for commuting now..Read More

---->If the comparisons happen in the already done manner why not pit Karizma against RD350 ( sounds like an amatuer against a champion ???) I've told u already... its the power to weight ratio that matters not the cc boy... and all the three bikes have almost same power to weight ratio becau...se of the weight difference in them.... RD350 and zma???? man dont joke.... i salute the legend(RD350)... dont drag him here.. u might also want R1's or hayabusa's to be raced againist zma... right??Read More

---->The first thing is the comparison that was made between bikes of different capacities, ie pulsar 180, RXZ (135cc) and Karizma (223cc) precisely was inappropriate to label Karizma as the best. Ofcourse they are from different categories but all of them are performance oriented bikesand yie...ld almost similar power to weight ratio and mind u its power that matters not cc... and RXZ being a 2 stroker yields more power than a 4 stroke bike of the same cc... so do u think only cc's should be considered???? so according to u.. Ambition 135 and RXZ must be dragged as they both fall into same segment(cc)???? lol man... --->However the truth is that till 0-60 km/hr RXZ (if you talk about 5 speed) definitely leads the race with little competition from Pulsar 180(new one).....................Whereas the ’ big bike’ Karizma bites the dust. When did i say that doesn't lead others?? surely it will.... but till 30/40kmph mark.... Till 60??? no way man... only a ported RXZ will do that, not a normal one and i dragged with a normal one not a modified RXZ..Read More

Hey, When did i say that the other two bikes are inferior?? each bike is a leader in its own segment i do agree that RXZ is a superb bike and it outperforms zma but till the 30 to 40 kmph mark my friend.... after that the p180 or a zma are clear winners... The new p180 v2 has really good sprint b...ut till 70kmph and dusts off zma till 70, but after that it looses its breath and picks up little slower than zma... If u dont believe me..put up a drag and i'm damn sure u'll come up with the same results as i did... why dont u trust me... The zma is best only in the 80-130kmph band not below that...Read More

u r biased to yamaha too much.... i do agree that yamaha produced very good lean machines of RX series which are very good performers.... but its not only the performance of a machine which matters on the road... its stability and handling also come into picture at high speeds and in this matter th...e RXZ seriously lags behind.... and whats the use of a bike reaching 120 when it cant hold itself well... All the power u are talking about is because of its low weight not because of its so called superb engine... if its only the acceleration that u need, then why not fix karizma's engine to a bicycle... boy u can out challenge a RD even then but dont expect any handling from it at the same time...lol man... By changing the silencer it yields 16 bhp??? man dont even try to utilize the whole power in that bicycle... oops.. Rxz... not only will u harm the engine, you'll put your life into danger... so kid next time when u put up a review just write it unbiased... Happy biking... PradeepRead More

----> My Q is how can anyone test the crank for 180kmph+ speeds? Its not tested after its being put in the engine... The cranks are tested in the factory itself by using some sophisticated instruments... The safety margin of the cranks and other parts are defined in the factory itself... Th...e safety margin of the part defines the maxxxxximum operable range of the product beyond which it is not advisable to operate as it would damage them... In the case of the Zma crank, it can tolerate the maxxximum stress of 185kmph... not beyond thatRead More

---> I wanted to say that whats the use of putting such a part that can withstand 200+kmph to a bike which does just 125-130kmph? Just adds to the cost No.. you are wrong buddy, the parts of the bike are always selected such that it can tolerate some 15-20% more stress than the bike can do in ...its maximum... Think yourself.. lets say you are designing a bike and the maximum speed which it can reach is 110 kmph, so do u put the parts which can tolerate the maximum stress of 110kmph?? there is always a probability that the bike can do 115kmph in some condition(incase of some modification)... Right??? so what do u expect will happen to those parts which cant tolerate even a single kmph after 110kmph mark?? malfunction and put your life in danger???? no, right??? in the same way, while designing a bike, the designers always choose a product which can tolerate more stress.... The more it can withstand, the better it is... Just see the safety margin in Zma (some 70kmph difference)... it shows the quality of the bike right???Read More

Thanks for reading my review and rating it... -->Somehow, I doubt ur claims, but even if they are true, how will the Zma achieve 200kmph? I think Anand answered your question, i've written that the max speed which it can tolerate is 200kmph not that Zma will reach 200 -->Both Zmas have re...v-limiter.........and its somewhere arnd 9000rpm...........and at that speed ull be doing almost 140 kmph........they dont have any diff in performance As far as i know the older version does some 7kmph more than the new one, so when asked about this to the Hero honda dealer, this is what he told me that the new Zma has an electronic speed limiter.... -->The Zma is the fastest production bike in India right now, BUT will very soon get displaced by the Pulsar 220...... That is where i'm worried too much.... When P180 is matching the performance neck to neck to my baby till 65kmph, i wonder what P220 does to Zma.. Lets see what it has in store.... waiting for its release...Read More
