Movie sucked, but I blamed the Indian audience for making it take the highest opening ever and may be the biggest grosser ever in Indian cinema! Wow, our cinema is defnitely great ?????

First off, the movie wasn't 3 hours? Second of all, the sets were not suppose to be real. You are entering a different type of cinema? Personally, I didn't like your review, because you are talking about the negative aspect of the film, rather than focus on a balance!

I like Saawariya! I think our Indian audience needs to open more rather than watching the same old thing over and over again!

Its true what Bhansali said despite if Saawariya has worked or not at the BO! Everything for the Indian audiences, are MASS APPEAL, MASS APPEAL, MASS APPEAL, can they learn to watch something new! Even the critics, especially that biggest idiot Taran Adrash! Its true, art films or even ex...periment films are not finding a place in the Indian cinema anymore. Every time a Guru or Life In A Metro is a Hit, a Johny Gadar, 1971, Awarapan, Gandhi My Father, Manorama, and Dharm will fail at the BO! How and when will art and experiment cinema will find a place in India? I can bet my $100 dollars on the line, if they remake Partner scene by scene, it will succeed at the cinema, its because audience wants to see it, and have no place for different cinema. Like that idiot Taran Adrash, look at what he wrote for Aap Ka Surroor at the end of the review 'For its distributors, the fabulous opening will have them singing and laughing all the way to the bank. Critics be damned, this one's for the masses! (and he gives it a 3 1/2 stars)' WTF? 3 1/2 stars for that junk? Why is Taran Adrash always writing a review based on the masses? Is he a critique or a representer for the masses? Is he saying that AKS is a better film than Saawariya? Its sad that Indian audience are not opening up at the BO, and I hate to say this, they will NEVER open up! Do you think a Pursuit of Happyness will work at the BO? Do you think a The Departed will work at the BO? Do you think a Blood Diamond will work at the BO? Do you think a Pulp Fiction will work at the BO? Do you think a American Gangster will work at the BO? Do you think a Shawshank Redemption will work at the BO? Look at another point, Yuva, its a well made film from Mani Ratnam. In the Tamil version, it was a huge Hit at the BO. In the mexican version, huge success. For the Hindi version, FLOP. It proves Indian cinema audience will never open up. All they want to see is HeeHaaRead More

The masses are getting stupid. Its being declared that Om Shanti Om maybe the biggest grosser ever in Indian cinema. Now tell me, how dumb can the audience get to support a crap like this! My favorite Bhansali film in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam as it was beautifully done, with Khamoshi being seco...nd. I consider Mera Naam Joker , Andaz Apna Apna and Swades to be classic, and those films will be classic in the future!Read More

You see that's the problem with Indian audience, and I hate to say this, although I'm an born Indian, the Indian audience wants only to see mass appealing films You guys are saying the storyline is weak, so then why was White Nights considered a classic for? Only Indian audience won't accept i...t I can bet if this was made for Hollywood audience, it will be a success and find acclaim!Read More

Why does it always happen in Indian cinema?  An classic will get unnoticed at first, but in the future, it will get its recognition.  Kaagaz Ke Phool, Shaib Biwi Aur Ghulam, Teesri Kasam, Mera Naam Joker, Lamhe, Andaz Apna Apna, Pinjar, Swades, and etc.  flopped badly at the BO, but got their cu...Read more

Wow, coming back from the film and this film is simply horrible.  Well, SRK is at his best:  OVERACTING, OVERACTING, OVERACTING.  He made Akki who had a two minute role steal the show.   The problem with this movie is that Farah Khan want to put SRK as a whole package, which ends up failing to t...Read more
