Recent days, i saw few of our collegues are moving out with good offers from HCL & CTS etc., managers are not releaving easily, trying much to hold them \. if any one releaved before 3 months after kept resignation, need to pay more than they get here. any way good thing is oppurtunities are growi...ng outside, so people are leaving and polaris replacing them with freshers or employees from very small companies. in some projects, HR failed to get new employees with their cheap offers, this may leads to loose projects from clients, recently i saw part of the proj was gone to L&T. If this downfall in polaris continues, we will see a big fall soon.Read More

Every person should have polaris certifications in domain and technlogies, failed to complete this losts their rights to ask promotion / hike in company. These were recently introduced to tight the employees voice in appraisals and promotions and hikes. All tech certification exams are very to...ugh and will ask u very depth and deep architectural question in DBA area , even u ra programmer or a developer in that technology(orcale). Every person must have completed Domain exam, Java & Oracle exams, even if u r not releated to these techs in ur projects. suppose if u work on perl or autosys or simply a production support , then also u need be cleared in this exams.Read More

As Krazy4 said, we have only 4-5 thousand employees. Do u know 12 to 18 months back, polaris celebrated one occasion for crossing of 10000 (10k) employees strength. But now, we can't see any where in internal websites also for current employees strength, but from sources / assumptions, it should not... cross 5k. Nearly 50% of people have been fired and this could not be noticed by media or at least to internal employees. that is the power of HR here. All fired or resigned people were in a grade less than manager. they are developers etc., but no manager or PD haven't been out here. Projects are reducing and managers are increasing in company. that is the power of managers here. Many projects were gone to other companies (wipro, tcs ..) and no new projects also, that is the power of our sales / marketing teams. Hikes - They are publicly telling that dont keep hopes on hikes and asking us to forgot about it & work hard for at least 1 more year. Awards / recognitions are completely based on client apprisal mails and based on the deapth of that mail. If you just get as good or excellent work, then no one will cares. that mail should be such a strong that only u did a great and worthy job in all history, then excellence award will reach u. Ge...m awards are most managers' personal interested employees. More over these awards will not lead your hikes. Apprisal / hikes / grade promotion processes will happen with out any striaght parameters or measurements. We can say this is a managers company.Read More

Here one more thing, work timings. No one consider when u left yesterday, but shuld present in office by 8:30 AM. It is quite common of having working hours min 12 hrs per day. Evening 8’o clock and 9:30 pm bus faclity for dropping (paid service) is available but morning time pickup at only to r...each by office at 8:15. they dont provide travel facility for other timings at morning. this means their intention is all shoud come by only at 8:15 , and they r encouraging stay late / work more hrs by providing only dropping buses at late evenings. people coming by 8:30 AM , most are leaving at 8 PM buses only. means 8:30 to 8 are office timings, this is average case. if u go beyond , case is 8:30 am to 9:30 pm are office timings. all these are paid facilities only. Hi friends, Most worst thing is we are not supposed to use our leaves, if u touch any one here their leave balance sheet shows 30, 40 and above. even if we work with out taking leaves (bring more billing to company) will not get any recognition to ur dedication and all ur leaves will be useless. At ...the time of resignation, they will not give u even 1 ruppee per leave. Leave encashment is not applied here. If u take any leaves (even if u have leave balance in ur account) in notice period, same extends ur releaving date.Read More
