hi, rightly said....it was so thrilling to see dhoni bludgeoning the paki bowlers particularly those three consecutive fours in rana'a one over were really worth watching.....i was thinking the adam gilchrist was having the second highest run rate but was stunned to see dhoni as second and afridi... was just ahead of him with 108 strike rate and dhoni with 107 but the difference is the number of matches played by either of them, really appalls me(afridi-220,dhoni-48)...... a gift to india indeed!!Read More

@ sridhar, rightly said so, but the core issue is that nobody comes above the team, hey i dont deny the fact that he was a great batsman and will b provided he plays against weak teams, as u know his weakness is being exploited like anything by the strong teams like australia, pakis(strong?! atleast... in short pitch balls), so much so that ricky had to comment on one occasion that he just asked his bowlers to bowl him few short pithces and he will duck under to give a catch at slips!!....well its not his ability we r sceptical about but his arrogant statements( recently against greg) particulalry when non-performing... @udvinprakash, yaa the prerogative character of ny captain is that he should leading from the front....his cricket isnt good however good manager he might be?!!.... @sweetsdesire, sorry to say i am neither a die-hard fan of him nor an enemy..well these r the views of ny person who looks politics of cricket seriously.....so,first assumption of making me a DADA's fan is baseless. Well, the moot point here is, how can the team play collectively, when there r so many differences between players, particulalry when it has become a tussle between ganguly on one side and kaif,rahul on the other....take the case of first test in bulawayo, can u say who is eligible to b part of team kaif or saurav??, well only a dead fan of dada will back him for his stats!!!....so when i say he is a liability,i mean so, becos kaif couldnt b accommodated, as dada as a captain has taken his place.. i do agree with u ksb & shafique, making a century against a weakest of the weak teams isn't going to prove anything for him, and he cant continue in the team with his previous performances backing him any more..i strongly feel the need to sack him!!
