Hi, Core Center didn't help me, but since I'm a member of CERC India, thru their Bimonthly publication INSIGHT (it's a consumer awareness magazine), wrote to CERC & they helped me resolve the issue. They help all those who have a 3/5 yr subscription of their magazine for free & if you are not a memb...er, they will still help you, but I guess charge 10%, which is very much worth it. I got calls after calls asking when they could deliver the cheque etc, especially since CERC had taken the matter right up to the Chairman of Hathway. One ID I got of a person from Hathway is Dulal@Hathway.net (Dulal Banerjee), not sure about his designation, but maybe you can bombard him with mails.Read More

Hi, 'm ok to connect. I've already lodged a complaint with www.corecenter.org. Do the same, supposedly they help consumers with consumer redressal issues. Yours also happens to be a threat to life issue, you can really take Hathway to task. Start recording all your conversations with Hathway.

There may be one solution to this. Call their helpdesk again & ask the status. Tell them that this time they won't set the time but you will and tell them to send somebody within that day, which if doesn't happen you will ask your bank to stop payment due to the purchase being fradulant. I know... it doesn't sound true, but most of these agents on the helpdesk won't know that. 'coz usually sales agents are different from Customer Care & sales agents will be more aware about how transactions happen etc. Do mention that you've already spoken to your CC issuing bank & that you will be updating them the next morning about the actual status of the purchase, which if not honoured will go against TataSky.Read More

Approach the Consumer Court. Not only for the refund but for them cheating you, especially since they have nothing as such mentioned about what describes whether it is one house or not.
