It's already known that Kwid struggles in steep areas. But like you said it's a city car. I think your conclusion is too generalized. You should say those looking to drive or are living in mountainous region must not buy this car!

Hi, thanks for sharing your experience and bringing to light the problems Kwid is giving. I would like to give my opinion on your review. My Kwid is manufactured in the month of March 2016 and I have used it for 4 months. And like you I use it only on a weekly basis. But I haven't faced any of the i...ssues you've mentioned. Besides you say that these problems surfaced from the beginning itself. So as you said you are a victim of manufacturing defects. I would also like to point that since you like to push the car to it's limits, I believe this has further complicated the problems your car is facing. This is a fragile new car with an unproven engine and it is always wise to use the car with caution. I don't know if you know this but I will tell you anyway. The Kwid or for the matter any new car should never exceed 80 KM/H for the first 1000 KM. Those who follow this rule and use the car gently will have an excellent engine for years to come! Of course this is possible only with a non - defective engine. Brakes are anyway cheap in the Kwid and so it is always wise to use it properly by avoiding hard braking. Please beware that A-segment cars are never safe and should be driven with caution. If you are looking for thrills then it's better to go for premium cars that are performance oriented and safe. Speaking of vibrations, they were very minimal if not hard to notice in my car. I have always run my car with AC and the car being dead on idling or lower gears, I haven't experienced it till date. What I'm trying to say is that if your car is non - defective then the car is awesome. Renault it seems has fixed these manufacturing defects and that's why I haven't faced your issues. Most complaints are from owners of the initial batches of the Kwid. Subsequent batches have probably ironed out those defects. And I strongly support your point that Renault recall all the affected and defective cars and fix them!Read More

Probably the dumbest review I have read on Mouthshut! Either you have got some grudge against Renault or you are ignorant. Whatever the reasons, you must still be reasonable man! Don't degrade yourself by such unreasonable and unhelpful reviews!
