Petrol version would be better if your usage isn't too excessive - diesel version is better suited for heavy users; it requires more maintenence. Its always better to go for a new car instead of a second-hand, depending upon your budget. Other options are Beat, spark,Ikon, i10. However, servicing an...d spare parts might be very expensive. Which is not a problem with Maruti. Also, my personal experience says Japanese cars are more reliable than Korean. So you could go for Swift. Its also fuel economical.Read More

Hi. This is my second review - the bike has run over 20000 kms now...and, surprise for many - it still functions smooth as butter. I guess its how sensibly one drives and changes gears and get the vehicle serviced from authorised shops - all this matters a lot. I still get a mileage of 55kmpl and th...e bike still doesn't 'shiver' at high speeds like 90. And, I have taken it out on long hauls of over 300kms many times - you know, contrary to what many believe, its actually much more comfortable than driving heavier cc bikes - I found that I could go on and on...while my friend who owns a CBZ had to take frequent brakes......afterall, driving comfort does matter; you are not out to win a grand prix of sorts......the bike is good for both city and highways. However, speed enthusiasts should still probably go for heavier bikes and those who ride the highways way too often.Read More

Well great to know that you have done 60000 KMS on it. However, as far as my personal experience is concerned, this bike has proved to be good for me on the highways too: I have done 400+ KMS on a single day, with just a 20 - 30 minute break in between, quite often on it and have not faced any probl...ems. Ofcourse, ANY bike would give you a little bit of back pain and neck stiffness if you drive over too long. But I must say that I have taken very good care of the bike and followed all the instructions to the letter in the running-in period and also get the bike serviced after every 75 days.It gives me a mileage of 60 when driven within 50km/hour and around 48 when driven at speeds greater than 80.Read More

Height does not matter as long as you have a sturdy enough built. I have seen guys shorter than you handling a RE Bullet 500cc with ease. Go for it if you really like its looks. Anyway, its not that macho a bike that a 5'6" guy cannot handle.

I bought a Discover 135cc in June 2008; its run 5000 kms. Thankfully I feel I made the right choice.I have read some pretty negative reviews here but I guess there is no vehicle in the world which would satisfy everyone in the world. Speaking of my personal experience:- The major plus-point I...Read more
