This is true for all so-called 'nationalised banks' like SBI, Central Bank, PNB etc.etc. They have not yet come out of the 'clerical attitude' as the majority of them has passed the 'clerical aptitude' exam (a coveted entry into a nationalized bank 20 years ago was thru that exam).

True for almost all web-based travel agents. If there is a change in schedule or cancellation of trip, it would be very difficult to get back any money from them. In general airline tickets will take atleast 3 months to refund.

Using the walking path to go to Tirumala is a great experience. I have done it with family (wife and 2 kids) once and alone once. With family it took 6 hours. By cutting out special dharshan's to VIPs they can accommodate more people for dharshan.

Just look for a router switch somewhere near your connection, where the outside cable comes and connects. There will a switch which you can opt for 'Line mode'. Try this. (My son tried this and got it ok).
