Just got a M2M here from Yatra again and they have triggered the sleeping lion.
Am back from my Tour. Will share the experience shortly.
However, a brief update on Yatra is -- we have still not received any refund / answers to the mails for refund for the london trip.
YATRA do sucks big time.

When we very well know they have been telling lies and defrauding others. It’s almost 8 pm. I just got a call from them saying you guys have to lea...ve tonight for Paris. HILARIOUS. Now they expect us to do the last minute prep, have an international phone number, and no body to assist us at the domestic airport. Update from today: 11th May
They could not get the passports from the consulate again (!!##*&). And they even say we got the visa, which I seriously have questions about how they know this without having the passport.
My poor parents have travelled to Mumbai to stay in a hotel and watc...h TV.
They say that if we get passports tomorrow, we’ll skip London and send you straight to Paris, reducing 1 day in the trip. We’ll wait and watch.

Update from today:
Today they reverted back saying that we will most probably get the passports and other documents about flight details etc. tomorrow between 7pm-8pm i.e 11th May. We are supposed to report to the airport at midnight i.e 11th Midnight - 12th Morning.
My parents have already star...ted from Nagpur to Mumbai. Either they will go on the trip. Or they’ll see Gateway of India and Marine Drive for the 20th time. We found another family who is going through the same situation for the same trip.
@ Yatra Care:
Only your OPs team is in contact with us. Nobody from customer care.
You will refund us the amount we paid, but what about the amount we spent on couriering documents for visa 3 times instead of 1, and what about my parents making travel arrangements and coming to Mumbai for no reason? And should I mention the mental trauma it has caused all of us?

I am having a similar experience with Yatra.com regarding my Europe tour. Till we paid the entire amount we used to get regular calls from them. Now it has happened twice that we got the VISA done but because of their unorganized work we are not able to fly. And we have to keep chasing them to get i...nfo on the update regarding travel. They are making money out of defrauding customers.Read More

Today's Update - 9th May - I have not yet heard anything from Yatra.com regarding my VISA or anything regarding travel. 11th we are supposed to fly to the Europe tour. As well, the email you get at Mouthshut from Yatra.com, where they ask you your booking reference number and pose to help you out, i...t;s been 2 days I have not received any revert from them.

Update - 7th May : 6-30 pm - Sent Yatra.com a mail with Booking Reference Number around 1 p.m. It's 5.5 hrs and have not received any revert from them. They fall flat on their words again.

Today's update - As requested by Yatra.com care, here on mouthshut, have sent them my booking ref number a couple of hours ago. Now let's see if some action is being taken or it's just another false promise from them.

I guess Yatra has the same feedback for such grievances. All they need to do is change the profile name they are addressing the mail to - Copy Paste the matter and leave it to happen for nothing beyond that.

Todays Update - Still revert on one of the queries is pending. That means now they want me to co-ordinate directly with a third party i.e the agent who does Visa for them. Haven't seen such a pathetic service from any other company operating in service sector.

I have booked a 12 day tour to Europe through Yatra.com. We were to fly to Europe on 21st of April. Since I was to travel to Thailand for work in April first week we decided to take the visa in advance to avoid the last minute run...ning around. We got our UK and Schengen Visa done by 6th. I flew to Thailand on 7th and was back on 10th.
After coming back I got the news from Yatra that the travel dates have been changed. ( HOW PATHETIC) hence we will have to reapply for the visa. We arranged for the documents again and reapplied. This time we were to fly on 23rd April. On 22nd we hear from Yatra that, we will not be able to fly on 23rd since the agent who does the visa work for Yatra could not take our passport from Italy Consulate. How disgusting. Hence even after getting the VISA the second time we could not fly.
They refused to do a complete refund of the amount we spent for 3 bookings. Now the scene is they made us reapply again. Travel dates are 11th May and the response I got from Yatra regarding our Visa is, ’’ We will confirm it to you on 11th May’’
( UNBELIEVABLE)
Yatra.com is an extremely unprofessional and unorganized company. The kind of response we get from Yatra officials is pathetic. None of our questions get answered on time. There is no clarity on their part. Most of the times calls are being avoided by the operations manager saying they are in a meeting. They are defrauding the customers and should be dragged to court. Even after spending hefty amount, all you get is ''frustration'' from these people.
