@somekhan and @arijit2309: Agree with both of your views. I have shopped 10 products from SD and have had mixed bag of experiences. Delivery delay is one..as they are only able to tell the same details what we see on Bluedart website and they say they can't have date-wise delivery details about Blue...dart, but shopclues display date-wise details of your shipping of Bluedart (I told them and they were quite amazed that how bluedart could do this to them...:)). Although, never received any defective/dead product but one of the high value product ordered from them gave me sleepless nights right from delivery issue (had to go to bluedart courier office for clearances- you dn't expect this right!) and now fighting for non-conversion of EMI for the same product. I just emailed my bank yesterday evening and received a call in the morning telling me the valid reason that my card being a corporate card isn't eligible for EMI...So, what on earth, is their 'accounts team' doing since Friday (17th May) when I had raised the request?----The gist is that you are lucky if you don't face any problem with your products/payments; but once you have such a problem, you will definitely go berserk for having bought that product from SD! And @somekhan: I hope that you get EMI amount in your next statement rather than the full amount. About bad mouthing...well ask those who face issues...I actually never wrote about any online shopping portal including flipkart and shopclues although I faced issues with both of them just because they were able to resolve the issues in a professional and timely manner...but the responsiveness of SD to address issue is pathetic...in fact I am the one who kept them updated for most of the issues.....even I am sometimes lucky to get hold of an SD customer rep in first attempt but sometimes it takes 4-5 attempts to reach a customer rep and tat adds to the anger when the customer rep isn't able to update despite various promises.Read More

Insufficient Info about EMI! I received a call from my bank saying that my credit card is a corporate card and that's not eligible for EMI transactions. Now what? Your website says that EMI is applicable on all Citibank, HDFC and ICICI credit card holders...either have full information from bank...s and display it on website or don't have such schemes, which otherwise ultimately bottlenecks a customer; as now I have to arrange the hefty amount to pay to avoid any penalties...Do I seek for compensation from you guys now, for misleading and misinforming a customer?? The saddest part is that today after calling your customer care, I received an answer that my request is still under progress and will take 2 days for resolution!!! And then I updated your customer rep with the reason...I just emailed my bank yesterday evening and received a call in the morning telling me the valid reason of the issue....So, what on earth, is your 'accounts team' doing since Friday (17th May)?
