⚠ Extremely Poor Construction Quality

Review on TVS Emerald Aaranya, Medavakkam, Chennai

I recently visited my under-construction flat in the TVS Emerald project to review progress before approving the next payment stage, and I was shocked by what I saw. The ceiling of the unit already shows large visible cracks (as seen in the attached photo), which raises serious concerns about the structural quality, workmanship, and overall safety of the building.

Construction practices at the site appear carelessworkers continue after 6:30 pm using torchlights, which clearly compromises quality and safety standards. This reflects a lack of proper supervision and quality control that is unacceptable for a brand like TVS.

From speaking with existing residents and personal observation, its evident that the overall construction and maintenance quality of TVS Emerald projects is extremely poor.

The swimming pools basic water filtration system doesnt work properly, and cleaning is irregular.

Most amenities are undersized and poorly executed, making them practically useless despite whats promised during sales.

The STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) frequently overflows, and the so-called recycled water used for gardening contains visible waste and emits a strong foul smell, which is both unhygienic and unacceptable.

The quality of materials and contractors used is substandard, far from what was advertised.

Its disappointing that a reputed name like TVS Emerald would deliver such low-grade work and still expect customers to make milestone payments blindly. Buyers should be very cautiousdo not rely on sales promises or marketing materials. Visit the site personally before making any payment or commitment.

Unless theres immediate and transparent corrective action, I would strongly advise others to avoid investing in TVS Emerald projects.
