The flip side of living here is that some residents feel the project is overpriced for what they got. According to reviews I've read, you’re paying a premium, but the space you get for that is tighter than expected. There are complaints about security, too; unauthorized personnel have allegedly been employed who don't maintain professional behavior towards the residents. Plus, the overall management seems to drop the ball when it comes to resident concerns, which undermines the building’s otherwise “smart homes” promise.

What bothers me a little is how tiny the plot is; just 0.21 acres, which makes me really think hard about the open space, the parking, and how cramped common areas may feel when moving in. Due to the units being small and packed tightly, there could also be some trade-off in either natural ventilation or privacy. Also, with only 105 units, society-level amenities may feel limited or get heavily used. And since possession is in mid-2025, there’s still a waiting phase, which clearly indicates that my capital is tied up for a while.

The approach to it suffers from Chembur’s usual congestion, and that too on a regular, any daytime, during peak hours, it's just painful. The buildings around are quite close, so lower floors might feel boxed in with a possibility of limited ventilation. Some parts of the surrounding area still look chaotic with shops and narrow lanes, and it takes away from the project’s polished internal feel. For me, it is a good building, but the external environment definitely strikes a contrast.

I really appreciate how Veena Serene delivers well-planned 2 BHK flats in a super central spot in Chembur, with 578–582 sq ft per unit. It’s backed by Veena Developers, who have a decent track record in delivery, so I feel confident about build quality. The amenities like 24×7 security, gym, and power backup give a good all-around living experience. And the location is pretty smart, you’re close to commuting nodes, local markets, and schools.

Stepping into Veena Senterio, the project instantly felt more updated than many mid-range Chembur options. The lobby, lighting, and overall ambience gave off a newer, cleaner vibe. The amenity deck is nicely positioned, and the clubhouse area felt genuinely usable rather than just-for-show. For families, the open spaces and planned facilities add a sense of completeness.

Living at Veena Smart Homes feels genuinely wholesome. The area has a friendly, tight-knit vibe, and my neighbors, in particular, really feel like an extended family, and there’s this strong sense of belonging that I've gotten used to by now. The location is super practical, with schools, markets, and healthcare all within reach. There’s also good cross-ventilation, along with the building being well kept, giving that calm, homey feel despite being in a buzzing suburb.
