I was living in the HDIL Metropolice in Andheri for a few years, but moved from there due to excessive water and pollution issues. There is a water shortage every other day, and the air becomes smoky due to high pollution levels, particularly during the peak hours. My daughter was falling ill due to it, so she left the place. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment, especially if you have small children, as it is both useless and costly. Rather, I suggest living a few kilometers away, where the air quality is better, and the rent is affordable.

HDIL Metropolis in Andheri is one of the few buildings in Mumbai that offers nice spacious apartments. I bought a resale apartment in the building and am very satisfied with my purchase. The management is excellent, and the location is premium. Not only is the building great, but the surroundings are also excellent, offering nice connectivity to the city's major areas. Currently, I’m not living there and am thinking of selling it, but I must say it is worth buying or renting the apartment here, if you can afford as it is a bit costly.

The flipside of living here is that during peak hours, traffic jams around Bhandup make coming home a drag, and on more than multiple occasions, many residents seem to complain that the parking gets tricky, and streets at times get congested. Also, there are mentions of pollution from nearby industries, water-supply issues, and occasional neglect in the maintenance of common areas. In short, it is not ideal if you like a clean, quiet residential atmosphere.
