I, for one, appreciated the subtlety with which you reviewed The Interpreter. For example, toward the end when you point out that though there is a palpable intimacy between Kidman and Penn, it somehow managed to ride the platonic side of the line. For me, that was probably the most interesting dy...namic in the movie...but maybe i'll write a review on it, too :). Keep writing - best of luck on your novel!Read More

Today I wrote my first two reviews, ever...for anything. And after receiving more ratings than I could have anticipated, I felt very welcomed into the MS community. I stumbled upon some advice for writing reviews on MS and must apologize! I am afraid my 'Con' for this movie review might give away... more than I meant to. Paromita, Thanks for adding your comment. I really resonate with your observation that I would have probably seen a very different movie if I had been able to relate it to the novel.
