Have you placed any kind of Lamination or Screen Guard. Remove any kind of lamination or screen guard from the front of Proximity Sensor. Proximity Sensor is located on the left side of earpiece.

A disappointed owner of TVS Jupiter

I have driven Suzuki Swish 125 and that has enormous amount of jerk at handle on even the smallest rough patches. Can't say anything about Access but both come from same manufacturer and Swish is an improved version. About the top speed, all 125 and 110 cc scooters are almost same. There is not much... difference. The only difference can be acceleration which I felt to be a little bit more on Swish due to 125cc engine.Read More

This is probably the worse thing that can happen to a company like TVS after designing and manufacturing such a good product. I have heard from several others about the bad servicing in TVS service stations and I have also faced some difficulties with TVS service station while servicing my Jupiter. ...TVS really needs to maintain quality of service in their so called Authorized Service Stations.Read More

I have been using TVS Jupiter for last couple of months and it is really pleasing to ride on this scooter. Fuel efficiency is consistent 50 Kmpl on Hilly Twisted single lane roads here in Himachal. Really it is better than Activa in terms of riding comfort.

tic tic noise is normal as it happens due to expansion and contraction of engine parts when it becomes hot and cool. I have heard tik tik sound from bikes and also from my WagonR as I stop somewhere during the journey and get out of the car.

Go to a service station which has the expertise in servicing. The problem with TVS is that there is no quality control over service stations and they often don't have proper and adequate knowledge about the vehicle. Also some service stations use cheap engine oils to save some money which directly a...ffects the vehicle performance. I also own a TVS Jupiter and currently I am getting mileage little more than 50 Kmpl. Vehicle is just a month old.Read More

For riding comfort on bad roads go for a bike. With bigger tyres and better suspension, bikes are very comfortable on bad roads. Non of the scooters in the market can deliver that much comfort. However scooters are good for utility purposes such as going for market and easily taking everyday shoppin...g to home whereas bikes don't have much storage. Also you can put your helmet inside the scooter while going for shopping on streets whereas you have to carry the helmet with you all the way if you have a bike. Some bikes do come with some sort or locks for hanging helmets but that are also not very safe for your Rs. 1000 or more helmet.Read More

You can contact TVS by the addresses given in the user manual (Email or Phone) about this. Further more you can register a complaint at consumer court as your vehicle is in warranty and during warranty period you should not be charged about any technical failure.
