Not to worry about the fuel effc: It will improve as you run more.... I get around 17 on highways without AC and sedate driving (100-110 max) And around 15 (with AC and speeds upto 140) My car has run close to 6000 Kms

Hi, I guess the mileage will improve, but you are indeed getting decent mileage..... All 1.2 L cars are the same. I have observed this: Filling fuel from Indianoil all the time will always return better mileage for me... I have run it for 5000 Kms and mine is the Zxi variant. I use very less AC... and it gives close to 13 in the city. Post service, the mileage infact dropped a bit, but has recovered since. Keep an eye on the break squeaks after service.Read More

Ok, now I understand how this has so many comments. You need a comment to deem a review as 'Not useful'

I agree with the writer. Ford cars are the best handling cars. I usually drive a swift, and now having bought a figo for myself, the handling differences are glaring. You would simply discard the swift after driving the figo

European engines are all turbocharged/ tweaked to give max performance. Fuel efficiency is not an issue there. But, it counts a lot. A 100 bhp Polo would have returned less than 8Kmpl. Are you OKAY with that? Each carmaker has to spend a lot of energy to down tune their engines to give the mileage ...that we expect. That takes all the performance out of the cars. Yes Polo is a premium hatch back and only for the plush feel and the German build. Nothing else. Engine-wise, have you seen the ratings on Alto K10? that beats everything available. you cannot win everything.Read More

yes, i have hit a bump too hard once. That is not because of poor ground clearance, but because of its longer wheelbase. But I guess this should not worry you. i have hit it only once, and was caught unawares because that was the first time Ritz and Figo are two different cars. Figo would ride t...he bumps without any fuss. I never slow down at smaller bumps, where the other cars would simply jump off their feet. Any day, figo would ride over bumps/ bad roads better. Fast corners, Figo is again the best. Ritz wont even come close. Also the interiors, ambience, plastic feel, ergonomics, Ritz will not match. But if you want a better/ more powerful engine, and if you like driving Santor over an Alto (Tall boyish driving posture), go for the Ritz. (My views are always biased towards the lower profile cars)Read More

Reply to the Petrol/Diesel question: If you are going for the Figo diesel, you are paying an extra 1.2 L. How much is your loan ammount for Petrol? Here is an example: Figo Petrol Zxi: 5L On road Loan amount: 3.5 L 5 years Rate of Interest 10% EMI for the next 5 years= close to 7500 ... If it were a diesel, Loan amount: 3.5 + 1.2 = 4.7L 5 years Rate of Interest 10% EMI for the next 5 years= More than 10000 Now, you save 2500 rupees or more per month Diesel would return a mileage of 17 (City highway combined) Petrol would return a mileage of 14 (City and highway combined) Price of diesel 43 Rs and Petrol 60 Rs A little more calculation and you would arrive at this: Drive upto 1400 Kms per month and you would end up spending same ammount (EMI + Fuel) as that of diesel. If your average monthly mieleage is less than 1400, go for Petrol, else go for a diesel.Read More

Yes I agree. But are not all other 1.2s the same? I have driven the Punto 1.2. Thats worse. Beat reviews are the same. And the figo has a 150cc compressor. I guess this takes more out of the engine. The only Plus is, You can putter around town and the engine pulls you even from as low as 20Km... with AC ON. (Yes you cannot race around, but can sure move along at this speed) This was an observation made from a Swift VDI owner.Read More

Exterior Bought a white Figo and it really looks figo (cool). It sure is not striking in its looks, but with ambiance and practicality in mind, this is the best package available. And also is pleasing on the eye. Looks good in white. Figo white is better than any white available. Interior (Fe...Read more
