A good post on the versatile Kishore Kumar.Formatting your post will make it nice.Kishore Kumar started his career same time around as Lata Mangeshkar.With the towering presence of Rafi and Mukesh in the 50's and 60's Kishore's voice remained unexplored by the composers.However,with the late 60's Ki...shore came to dominate the music scene which continued till his demise.Read More

Apathy towards the sacrifice by our brave soldiers Thanks for sensitising the members of MS on this important issue.The irony is that the valour and sacrifice of these soldiers go unrecognised.Despite all the praise heaped upon the soldiers who fight so that we all live in peace and safety ,the fact... remains most of us chose to live within our confines.Media would rather focus on some irrelevant stories rather than following up such issues.One can gauge the mindset of the poulace at large from the few comments the post has attracted,when coments do pour over frivolous and non-serious issues !Read More

Timely discussion I cant thank enough for this timely discussion which affects the humanity.I immensely liked the comments of Jai raj.However I do nt agree to the views aired by lifeofkaran that all the spiritual books prophesise the end of the world.According to Sri Aurobindo the evolution is on an...d despite the seemingly uninspiring situations all around, man would strive towards divinity.As Mahatma Gandhi has said,there is sufficient for every one's need not for every one's greed.We at the individual level should make an endeavour to abide by this spiritual dictum.This will have its bearing on the family ,then on the society,then the nation and the world.So the crux lies in our individual attempt in making the earth a beautiful place to be inherited by the future generations.

Yes it is still available in the market.In fact all the Albums by Jagjit Singh are available which are regularly released and re-released by Saregama.You can also buy this Album online from Rhythmhouse.in

Thanks syd for the comment.Appreceating a good song has nothing to do with knowledge of Raags.Ranjish hi sahi has been a signature Ghazal of the Maestro.
