I'm surprised to find you here. Thanks for the R&R and I am VERY surprised by the ratings you got. I thought this was very thorough. What do these people expect? Ed

the writing style is so familiar. I finally got a comment on a piece after six months and decided to lurk around this site for a bit. I found your familiar face after I followed your name on SD's page. Ed

Fortunately I use Aleve only when I need it and I haven't needed it since I wrote this piece. I treat all my medications with respect, don't self-medicate and never overdose myself. I'm sorry to hear about your mother's problems. Medications like this are nothing to fool around with and I think I m...ade that clear on my review. EdRead More

After my apartment was burgled several years ago I needed a new TV . . . bad. I was grateful that I had been smart enough to get renters’ insurance. With that in mind, I called a friend who guides me in all things electronic; he has a car and is eager to help. Off we went to the discount s...Read more

Lyla: Thankfully I have no back pain, just the hip and the knee, which are enough to keep me wincing. Thanks for the RR&C. Ed

It sure isn’t fun getting old. I recently had to stop writing because of the pain in my arthritic hip. I couldn’t even sit at the computer desk to write and my mind sure wasn’t on anything creative. I had been taking Celebrex(100 mgs), a prescription medication for my knee. One capsule each m...Read more

I was inspired by 'Pete,' who wrote on Mangoe pickles. I am trying to get MS to add more 'How to' and other advice topics to all the food categories food so people can post recipes. Thanks for the RR & C (read, rate & comment) as we say on that other site. Ed

is excellent and on many subjects. I especially liked this travel piece because i have two American friends who are spending 4 to 6 months in the southern regions of your country. Currently, they have a house on the Pookkaitha River, at the juntion of the Ambalapuzha Canal and the Alappuzha/Allep...ey Kollam/Quillon canal . . . if that means anything. To get this correct, I had to copy it from their e-mail. I surely will be back to read more of your stuff. EdRead More

I learned the rite of the Dill Crock from a writer friend of mine. The results are as memorable as he promised they would be. Making it has become as significant a part of summer for me as fireflies or shooting stars and fireworks. The aroma of the dill bouquet fills my kitchen every year about ...Read more

It took me a long time, a serious bout with oral cancer and a lot of being screamed at by my doctors and family, but I finally have a little over two-and-a-half years of smoke free lungs. I guess when I started smoking as a kid it was to belong to the group; the same went for my drinking. Pee...Read more
