There is no COD. The reason is so simple..! They want to take your money at first and cancel your order after 2-3 days and then as per their policy they will refund your money after 3 weeks. Let us take a simple example this from my experience with ShopClues: I wanted to buy an item costing Rs. 3...79. I placed the order and paid the money. After 4 days, the order status said 'ORDER CANCELLED' for reasons not mentioned. Now let us do the math: Assume that about ten thousand customers across India have ordered for this item which will result in(Rs. 379 x 10, 000= 37, 90, 000) . It's a big number.! Rs. 38 lakhs in Shop Clues account. For all these ten thousand customers, The ShopCLues cancels the order and will refund the amount only after 3 weeks. If you can do the INTEREST Calculation for this Rs. 38 lakhs for three weeks, you can know how they are earning money.! SO NEVER SHOP AT SHOP CLUES. THEY LURE THEIR CUSTOMERS BY DISPLAYING A VERY LOW PRICE IN THEIR WEBSITE AND WILL CANCEL THE ORDER AFTER 3-4 days WILL GIVE SOME NONSENSICAL REASON. Do the math by yourself and NEVER-EVER SHOP at SHOPCLUES.com website In the case of COD, they can't have the money to their account like this. Hi jworlikar, It is surprising you did not get the CLUE.!!! It's very simple: They collect money from you, and after 3-4 days they will cancel your order. As per their website rules, it will take 3 weeks to refund your money to your account..!! So think about tens of thousands of online shoppers ...like you in the same situation. At one go Shopclues has so much of money in their account and they enjoy the interest...!!!!!!! Just spread the message NOT TO SHOP in SHOPCLUES here afterwards to all your contacts. This Exactly what happened to my order as well..!!! I placed an order and was waiting for that. After 4 days they cancelled my order and they didn't care to inform me..! When contacted for refund they are telling that it is ShopClues.COm policty that it will take 3 weeks. IT is quite obvious that Sh...opClues.com is luring the customers by displaying low price and collect a Huge Sum of money and cancel the order at the back end and earn interest from the huge sum of money..!!!!Read More

I 100% agree with Mr. Babsan. this evening I had been to Club Mahindra office Inox Nariman Point in Mumbai against the call which I received stating that I have been selected in a Lucky draw. Initially a warm welcome was given and asked to fill up an application form. Then they asked me if we have 4...0 to 45 min. to spend with them to know about the features/facilities for which I agreed. Too many things were explained then finally it came about the membership fees. They were charging something close to 2.5 lacs to 3.5 lacks depending on the number of person. This membership fees is for 25 years. Plus every year an annual feel of Rs. 8,100 to Rs.16,000 for a one week long stay in any one of their 26 resorts. Plus 'The Days' offer includes 22 inch LCD TV and some bonus week stay plus Rs.2000 for food coupon etc., At one stage the offer looked good but the problem is that they insisted that I should take up the offer immediately by paying a minimum of 10% of the membership fee . They don't want to give any time for us to think. They were telling us that the offer will not be valid the next day...! furthermore, their behaviour totally changed once they came to know that we were reluctant to take the offer at that moment. They were telling us that we were the first family did not take up the offer...!!!! The worst thing is that they wanted us to become the member right at that moment itself which made me to think twice and I turned down their offer and came out of their office. When we were there in their office, a person who has recently applied for the membership by paying 10% of the membership some two days ago came down to the office and was shouting like anything, it seems there was some problem he was shouting that you people are cheating etc., etc., It was a very bad experience in their office today.
