1. Mileage is all about how well you drive and maintain the bike. You maintain it properly, Drive it properly and it should give you good mileage. My V15, returns 56 kmpl.
2. it's not supposed to feel like other 150 cc bikes, who has more BHP. this engine is tuned for better mileage than Power.... If you were looking for power, you shd have bought Pulsar,Gixxer, Hornet, etc.
3. Other 150 CC bikes will have the power but come at the cost of mileage.
4. Yes, seating comfort is an issue, but that can be managed by using a good quality seat cover with some cushion on it.
5. Engine is from Bajaj, not a local workshop. It's introduced after years of R&D and trails. It will last several years, if taken care off.Read More

by the way, which 350 CC bike give mileage of 40 KMPL on road? I'm looking forward to buy a bike in this range of 350 cc, so please do suggest. I own V15, and mine give mileage of around 56Kmpl, which is good as per 150 cc bikes. Yes 2 fat people can't sit properly on this bike, but, seat le...ngth is same as of others, so If 2 people can't adjust on this, probably won't adjust on any Bike !Read More

1. Bike is meant only for 2 People - based on what you gave as complaint 'it is comfort only for 2 people'
2. What's meant by Low Road Grip ? Its tyres are broadest in this segment, It's for better road grip, how that can be a negative ?
3. Gear Shifting is different in all bikes, depends... up on changing , riding pattern also. There might be some issue with the particular bike. Try changing gear properly with full clutch and not half. Gears to be changed on proper and correct speed, going up and down - both ways.

1. First of All, gearing down from 5/4th to 1st that too in running bike - Wrong. 1st Gear is to be used only when bike is standstill and needs to start from 0 and not at speed of '20'. Surely the bike wont be smooth and give jerks.
2. handlebar arrangement is not Bad, it's tried and tested and... well researched one. There might be the case that due to your body type, riding style, You might not feel comfortable. That not a design flaw.
3. 110 cc of Honda or Yamaha won't give the same Mileage as this bike . You need to compare an Apple with an Apple, and not an Apple with a Kiwi !Read More

fast running? this bike's engine is tweaked for slow driving, it's same DTSi as Pulsar's but its give 11 bhp, while pulsar give about 14.

well, Initially all bikes are troublesome. It takes some time for Engine and rider to get used to it. after 1st or 2nd service Engine will get its 'run in' and should get better. Mileage depends upon how you ride it. I have couple of friends who are now using this since last 1 yr, and getting mileag...e of around 50+ regularly.Read More

Yes, Mileage was with AC on, but temperature was set to the last blue Slot. So it was quite low, since I was traveling in October and night...so didn't required AC to be very high.

Hornedowl/drkemmy, yes I got a little excited and wrote more about journey rather than Car itself.
It's been a year since I'm driving Xcent and had clocked over 12000kms so far... lot's of long drives to Mumbai, Lonavala, Saputara, Gir, Kutch, etc.
Driving Xcent had been a bliss, never felt any ...issues with car or comfort so far. Car is at Par with 1.2 liter engine. It behave as it should. Lot's of features to boost off. Over all a nice to own Car.

strange, I never felt any thing like this with my Xcent , Initially i had to adjust, as it's brakes are softer than my earlier car Baleno, One does needs to adjust a bit, but If there is an serious issue, then it must be taken up strongly with the Dealer / Company .

1. Low Mileage depends upon how you ride it. If you ride poorly, then scooter/bike will return bad mileage.
2. What kick start trouble ? Try using Choke for the 1st time in morning during rains or winter.

No need to give these False figures. If Engine 'got down' , then you can get it repaired / Replaced under Warranty . Read your Warranty Booklet.

Are you serious ??? They don't have a Mahindra Service center in Mumbai ????
if there is a Battery issue with your Duro Dz, get it changed from AMCO, if you still have the Warranty card ? that why it is being given.
On what grounds you say that, it;s built upon out dated Parts ?? Are you craz...y, no firm in that world does that. Spare parts are tough to get from Outside, as it;s still a new one, and spares are not floated in market like Activa, which has been in market since last 14 Years !!!Read More

1 . Get your Facts Right, Duro's Ground clearance is more than Aactiva or any other Scooter in India today.
2. How is it Mahindra's fault if you are a bad driver ? That you hit your Mud guard every now and then ??? Drive carefully , don't blame Mahindra, They did not cheated you, When you bought... it, you must have seen that it has fiber body unlike Activa !!!
3. WTF are you taking about Puncture ? Is Mahindra responsible if you are a BAD Driver ? What does Mahindra has to do with your tyre getting Punctured ? Get yourself a Tube less tyre from MRF - ZAPPER. and ride sensibly

few Points -
A ) - Your inconvenience regarding service center / AMCO issue is justified. They should have taken care for that.
1. Your thought that, Battery comes in contact with Water in Rains, is not Correct. All the Scooters have the Battery at the same Position/location.
2. If the N...umber written on Warranty card is wrong, It's Mahindra;s fault, but it;s your too ! Why didn't you checked the Warranty card ?? I did that and found it ok, along with all other documents.
3. Mileage depends upon how to drive it and maintain it, Mine returns about 47 KMPL every time.
4. what is the Effective Space Vs Boot Space ? As per your comparison, every scooter then has the same problem. !!! Why don't you get a Helmet lock fixed like Bikes. that will solve your issue right ...
