I feel your review is one sided & does not potray the real picture of the city .It is a common fact that every city has some plus , some minus points - so does Bangalore ! I am not a resident of Bangalore,but I must say that my visit to Bangalore back in 2004 was quite pleasant as irrespective of ...bad road or poor infrastructure ,it's the people who are the most valuable assests of the city .Wherever I went I happened to meet such nice , friendly , warm people & this is not very common feature in other cities . So , when you point towards bad things about Bangalore & make some funny & meaningless suggestions , you also need to point the good thing about it .We need to remember that it's the YIN & YANG which are there in evrything . I think it is somewhat difficult show those movies in prime time as TV in India still a very very family oriented things where we all sit & enjoy the idiotic things in the small idiot box ,if you have seen the major popular programme-they are mainly family oriented like Sans-Bahu serials,game show,c...omedy show- so while showing your kind of movie at prime time there is a chance of attracting the attention of kids & children & as you know that we are not sex-educated ,so it might create an adverse effect on them . But true that we really want Doordarshan to show some good meaningful movies which seems to be lost in the hullah of Bollywood masala movies .I still cherish those Sunday evenigs when we at our young age , were allowed to watch old HIndi movies .So,Doordarshan can be odd one out by showing good movies & bringing back its old charm .Read More

Hi, First of all, I would like to thank you for your nice & arty review of those two cities ,these days it's hard to find out someone thinking or speaking seriously about fine arts or its creation . Being a art lover, I really love to see many more of these kind of reviews in MS. But , being an ...art student , I wish you could write more about the versatility of art medium practiced in Baroda art school ,I mean more about it's form , any ism it has been preaching . Though I am not very knowledgeable in this field , but when I notice the painting from Santiniketan school, or Kolkata art college or from Baroda, I find some subtle differences like usage of colour, texture, theme etc. So, it would be great if you can talk about these things in your next review . People like us , who want to know more about art & sculpture , would really be looking for these kind of review in MS. Let us make MS one of the known repository of Indian art & culture . Read More

My dear Sidharth, it seems you are very angry on KEKTA ...oops ! sorry EKTA !!I agree with you that her serials are not only become very monotonus but also no more carries any food for thought !Actors in her serials are more visible in some other music competition or interview shows rather than act...ing in the main serial . But if there are some people like you, me who love to hate EKTA, there are also many admirers of her who just love to swallow whatever she shows in her innumerable 'Kerials'! so why do they like to see something which you even hate to mention ?Why they just glued to the TV when Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki comes daily at night ! So ,if you want to throw her out & very much wish to put her in mental asylum , she might in turn throw you the same question ! So, I think , rather than cursing her , we better ask her to show something interesting ,innovative serials which carry some sense !
