Hi Sonu I'd definitely recommend MNYL. Even one of my friend too had a good experience dealing with them. If you're concerned, just initiate an enquiry and let the MNYL representative call you. From then on you can decide. It doesn't mean you've buy a policy if an representative meets you. You ca...n give them a try.Read More

Hi mbnataraj, At the end of a pure term insurance I stand to get nothing !! Yes thats what makes this insurance so cheap. I am only covered till the age of 60 (provided I pay the premiums regularly), but if I survive the tenure, I wouldn't get anything. I am aware of this and have taken the polic...y knowledgeably. As for the DD rider, again the cover is till the age of 60 and yes, there could be a revision in the premium. And probably why should it not change? Medical costs have shot through the roof and will soon be reaching the moon. The company has every right to manage its profit line. However I'd agree only to a reasonable hike. The hike at the moment is unknown. Also the policy document is written in simple english without much of a jargon. Being literate I could comprehend much of it pretty easily. Anyways thanks for raising the awareness that Insurance companies normally operate through their small prints. However thats the case with every Insurance player.Read More

Ponds, India is yet to awaken to a 'real' services industry. A lot of companies may boast of outstanding service but may actually hardly care about a customer. Its really a tough job managing a service than a product where you have something tangible. I've put 3/5 in Settlement about which I d...ont have an experience. Also put 4/5 for Costings which I found to be a bit costlier. I've been a regular reader of MS reviews and it has really benefitted me a lot in decision making for various products. By my review I wish to do the same for other readers. I dont wish to get into a war of words but, I really do not care what you rate/re-rate or comment on the review. The simplest gist of the review is - If you're looking out for Life Insurance, definitely give MNYL a try.Read More

Hi Ash, I paid Rs. 5720 for a term insurance of 20L till the age of 60. My term paying tenure is 33 years. MNYL allows (its supposedly an IRDA norm) only 30% of additional premium for riders. So I got the Dreaded Diseases rider for Rs. 1710 and the cover is 2.86L. Dreaded diseases rider comes at... Rs. 600 per Lac. Unfortunately couldn't fit the Accidental death benefit rider too which is priced at Rs. 135 per Lac.Read More

I've managed to write a review of an outstanding service that I received and I percieve MNYL to be a highly rated life insurance company to deal with*. *Disclaimer - I am not emplyed directly/indirectly by MNYL to carry any direct/indirect promotion for them. This is a genuine review (my 1st)... with the thought of helping people make good decisions.Read More

Here is a note worth mentioning for Life Insurance. A few weeks back I was looking out for a term insurance for 20 Lacs. I called, emailed, left contact details on websites of Bharti Axa, Metlife, Max New York Life, Bajaj Allianz & Aviva. Wanted to finish this ASAP in December. Bajaj Allia...Read more
